Interesting read from the point of view of someone who has traveled in their foot steps.

Les writes books that are accessible to all age groups. From would be explorers, to outdoor enthusiasts. The stories are told clearly with enough detail to understand the journey taken. His narration is down to earth with hints of comedy thrown in. If you grew up watching his "Bush Tuckerman" series on TV the words will seem like a old friend.
