Christine Husom is the Minnesota author of the medium-boiled Winnebago County Mysteries and the cozy Snow Globe Shop Mysteries. She holds an undergraduate degree from Concordia University in St. Paul, trained with the St. Paul Police Department, and served with the Wright County Sheriff's Department. Husom is a member of Sisters in Crime and Mystery Writers of America. She loves meeting readers at book clubs and other venues.

I really liked this series and was disappointed it ended after three books. I didn't realize there was this new one after all this time until spotting it at a library sale and of course snatched it right up. So glad I did! Nice to see all these characters again, and while the mystery moved a little slower, it did keep me interested and guessing. I hope more books will continue to follow.

An enjoyable afternoon read.

It was a good mystery but my attention kept wandering. I probably won't give it a second read but would recommend it to anyone that likes cozies.
