I liked how honest and forthcoming the author was about the relationship she had with her husband and what it was like to lose him and try to build a life without him. It was a tragic death. The book was written just a few years after he had passed and so many years have gone by. I liked her writing and wish she had kept writing to let us know what it was like to raise her child and date again and perhaps remarry. I hope life has been good to her.
A memoir of the reality of bitter-sweet life. So descriptive you can feel her story like you are walking through it with her. A flash back to landlines, cassette players and all things70's.
True story of a young couple. She is in her 6 th month of pregnancy when her husband is diagnosed with mesothelioma, a cancer caused by asbestos. Nancy strength through this ordeal is amazing.
