This book talks all about the brain and the different part. Although they do not name the character, there is one girl who is illustrated on each picture. This book talks about the different parts of the brain, how to keep them healthy, what the head doctors are called and what happens if you hurt your head.

I love this book because of the information shared. It's a very informational book that gives students a visual on what happens in our heads. I love the facts that are shared too because the illustrations and facts are very realistic. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 was because I wish it broke the brain parts up a little more in a section for more advanced readers. Overall, the book was really nicely put together.

This book was definitely too advanced for my 3 year old, but the information and diagrams would be great for an older kid just starting to learn about the detailed parts of the brain. We'll definitely read again when he's older.

A content book all about the brain. Explains how the brain is the boss o yor body. Give a good analogy as the brain being like a computer in between your ears. Vocabulary words such as cerebrum, cerebellum, brain tem, and spinal cord. Fun activity outlined in the back of book: try to draw your non-dominant hand. Would be appopriate for 3rd through 5th grade.

Great first explanation of basic brain parts. Kids would be able to pick this up quickly and it would be a good first intro.
