Realistic examination of life s difficulties from a faith perspective Appealing use of real life stories to examine universal issues Many people who face a crisis in their lives can, with the right guidance and encouragement, come to claim it as a kairos moment, an opportunity for growth, inner nourishment and renewal. All of us can be suddenly confronted with a decisive moment of difficulty or change. But fear prevents many of us from seizing the day. This book helps to steer us through the watershed. In this text, written for spiritual seekers of any age, Ford draws on his extensive experience of interviewing people at the turning point of their lives, from the Hollywood actress who becomes a nun, to survivors of terrorist attacks, to those struggling with loss and addiction.
