This was a very funny yet strangely educational book with some brilliant little titbits of information that will make you both laugh and impress your friends at the next pub quiz. I particularly liked the fact that Britain not only published more books than any other country in the world but also has more public lending libraries than any other country, now that has got to be something to be proud of doesn't it.

(And in case you were wondering the answer to how to avoid a wombat's bum is...don't chase it, they can run upto 25mph and stop dead in half a stride, killing/injuring whatever is chasing them on their bum-bone)

A funny book full of generally pointless but fascinating trivia and facts which you mightn't have know before, but certainly will after reading! My personal favourite sections were the Celebrity Nicknames pages, The Charles Dickens character names page and the Soccer Fanzines with Funny Names pages.

My son's book and I love to read it. FULL of amazing facts that have us all totally engrossed. Even my son's school teacher 'borrowed' it for her lunch break and raved about it! Worth having on your bookshelf.
