Another installment in the Island Nights series, Kara Sinclair again writes well with word choice, dialogue, and characters. I'm loving the island setting and can only imagine how beautiful it must be from the descriptions. In the first book I felt like I saw more of the resort, this book is a little more sheltered, but still it has its charm. The overall story was intriguing with why she was really there and how he was suspicious of her. The bad thing was to me there is too much insta-lust, followed by insta-love, especially in a short span. This wouldn't have been too bad if only they weren't constantly wanting each other, her even eyeing him when he comes into a room while they're fighting and angry with each other. Blaze isn't my preferred subprint, but this is a good one, as I especially liked the main characters. Eager to read the third and the last with Simon and Marcy.

Fluffy harlequin read with lots of sex. I liked the premise behind why the heroine is at the resort, but some parts definitely stretch the imagination. I'll read more by the author because it's nice escapism.

Part of a series but able to be read and enjoyed as a standalone.
An enjoyable, fun read - you know what you are getting with a M&B read.
Zane is the security chief for the island resort, Elle is the guest who tries to thwart him on the way to retrieving a family portrait - fun and games ensue! Zane is very serious, and we find out why and see how Elle gets under his skin to reveal some of his personality. Elle is your typical feisty heroine, with big burly brothers though we only see a glimpse of them

Cute, series novel about an artist, Elle, who travels to an adult resort and meets the head of security, Zane. Elle is trying to "recover" a painting of her grandmother that was given to her when her grandmother. She is not a very good thief, but sparks fly between Elle and Zane.

Not too emotionally taxing. Just a fun Sunday read. Recommended

Finally able to read again. Since being sick, i don't think i did this book justice. It was good, but wasn't able to hold my attention as usual. I may try it again in a year or so. I give it a 3.5 star.

Enjoyed the book, I just didn't understand why she didn't tell him why she was there sooner. Once she realized that she didn't think Simon knew it was stolen she could have avoided a lot of the problems. I guess there wouldn't be much of an ending though, huh? LoL oh well, still entertaining.
