A short book that I read principally because I've taken on some new responsibilities regarding lay ministry. It's well written and to the point, which is what you expect from anything written by Paula Gooder. It will require some significant updating now that the formation criteria for reader ministry has changed (and an increasing number of dioceses are gently dispensing with the title "reader"). Not much new here, but good for anyone thinking of embarking on this form of Christian ministry.

An excellent resource for people exploring their role in the Church and who feel a call to Reader Ministry.
