"You will submit to me, Nyx."
"I will not."
"We'll see." His exhale hisses between his locked jaw as I sink my teeth into his flesh, drinking deeply to ensure he experiences more pain than pleasure. "Mark my words. I still feel plenty, and when you submit to the dark waters of my love, I will allow you to bend down on your knees in supplication, begging me to forgive you for making this so difficult."
I lift myself from straddling his lap, allowing him to remain alone with his painful erection.
"I don't even recognize you anymore."

The first book was less than mediocre but I felt obligated to finish once I started and then it ended in a cliff hanger. Got to this one and it was even more poorly written than the first until I got to about 75% and couldn’t take it anymore and skipped to the last few pages and called it quits. The plot and story would have been better with better editing but it was so bad it was hard to ignore. Felt like going back to the 2010’s reading teenagers write fan fiction on Wattpad.

This book was everything I wanted it to be and more! I loved every second of this story and could not imagine a better ending.
