This is the absolute strangest book I’ve ever read. Definitely interesting and somewhat chilling, but trippy...

This is the type of book I would love to be able to write. If I could leave behind a condensed and beautifully simple fantasy tale that contains all of my life philosophy and beliefs that would be my gift to my posterity. Edward Hays can rest easy that he has pulled that off. He is both the author and illustrator of this book. Using flowers and a grasshoper as metaphors to convey all his ideas about life, death, love and freedom, he weaves a beautiful tale of the most meaningful journey any of us will ever embark on, self-discovery.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone, but it is even very digestable for children. I will defintely buy a copy of this for Hannah. This is a story that I think will be valuable to her.

This was a gift from a co-worker after my grandmother passed away. It is a story that for me gives me a different view on weeds.
