Q Studies are a new, yet historical way to explore issues of faith and culture in the context of an action-oriented, group-learning environment. Based off the Society Room movement of the late 1600's in England-small gatherings of leaders would convene, dialogue, learn and work together to renew their culture. Q Studies are based on this rich history and designed to challenge participant's innermost beliefs and preconceived ideas about life, faith, the world and their cultural responsibility. These five-session DVD studies will guide your group to examine your beliefs, change your paradigm, and take action.
Gabe Lyons is founder of Q (www.Qideas.org), which serves to educate Christians on their historic responsibility to renew culture, and author of "The Next Christians: The Good News About the End of Christian America" (Doubleday, 2010). His first book, "unChristian," was co-authored with Dave Kinnaman and revealed exclusive research on pop-culture's negative perception of Christians. His work represents a fresh perspective on Christianity's role in culture and has been featured by CNN, Fox News, the New York Times and Newsweek. Prior to launching Q, Gabe co-founded Catalyst, a national gathering of young leaders. Gabe, his wife Rebekah, and their three children reside in Manhattan.
