Kathy Goodhew does it again! In part two of the series everyone is brought together for a great event--the marriage of Lucas and Mena. How exciting to have fairies come to one of the most important events of your life. Also, Mena has her mother back, making the awaited day even more special. But trouble is in the air...a battle with the Life Takers. The humans are allowed to help battle along side of the fairies. What will the outcome be for both species? Love and magic are entwined throughout book 2 of the Hidden Ones, Confluence, taking your imagination on a great ride back and forth between the human world and a world so magical you may not want to leave. This book was a great finish to the series and won't disappoint you. Five out of five stars.

'Confluence' is book two of, The Hidden Ones, a YA contemporary, low-fantasy book series. It is a faith-based tale entwining fairies and goblins with the human's world. 'Confluence' is filled with mystery, adventure, talking animals, and an alien invasion. When all seems lost Mena must find her true strength so she might save the others. 'Confluence' is generously frosted with love, loss, and hope and is a good read for tweens, teens, and the young at heart.
