Stephanie Hudson is a #1 Amazon bestselling Author. She had dreamed of being a writer ever since her obsession with reading books at an early age. What first became a quest to overcome the boundaries set against her in the form of dyslexia, has turned into a life's dream.
Afterlife is the first book in the series of 12 books, with the story of Keira and Draven becoming ever more complicated in a world that sets them miles apart. The Transfusion Saga will also be a 12 book series once book 12 is released in May 2021. Other spin -off books and series are also available with lots more planned.
When not writing, Stephanie enjoys chatting with her fans and spending time with her friends. Being with her loving family as much as she can including her wonderful daughter Ava, sons Jack and Halen and supportive husband and personal muse Blake, who is there for her no matter what.
Used to be a big fan but now it's same story rehashed with different characters names , Afterlife retitled Transfusion you can tell when an author has run out of ideas, full of spelling errorsc & just not enjoyable instead of doing 10+ books that are towards the end mainly fillers give us readers a 5/6 book series with decent content
For how much I love this series I didn’t enjoy this book I felt like it dragged as everything was going too well. I do like the Amelia pip Keira and Sophia are on this adventure together and I am looking forward to two chosen ones meeting their kings at the complete wrong time in the next book
Of course when it comes to any of these reads by Stephanie Hudson, I devour them however this took me a bit of time, only because the first half of this book just seemed like a love fest, full of steamy scenes and although I don’t mind that in a story, it was kind of bordering on too much, however the second half was a different story and certainly made up for it by being nail biting stuff. This read is full of humour, banter and really funny moments, the story and plot are great and as per usual the characters are fabulous. Some angst, and some grammatical errors, nothing too concerning, but the majority of the book was loving and joyful. As I said the love scenes are in abundance which I guess considering the previous books was expected but there is only so much of that I really need to read about. When the mystery kicks in is when the story starts to get interesting and it will not disappoint, not only do we get glimpses of the next instalment but we also see a glimpse of what The Hellbeast King’s story will be, of course can’t wait for that. Fortunately we don’t have to wait long for the next in Amelia’s and Lucius’ story and I can’t wait. This has brought both Transfusion and Afterlife together and I can’t wait to see what happens to all these amazing characters.
I have always loved Lucius and Amelia (Kiera and Draven are dear to my heart, but their daughter is awesome!) and was happy where their story progressed, especially after the ending of the last book, "Queens of Sins". While the fearsome sex scenes are extremely intense and erotic between these two, and who doesn't love growly Lucius, I sometimes felt lost in the story because it seemed they just kept being thrown in every other scene. I would have preferred more on the communication side. For instance, when Lucius finally got around to discussing his daughter, it was a glossed over paragraph in which the reader never was able to experience his emotions in the telling to his Chosen. There were some heartfelt moments, and it was nice seeing some normalcy. Christmas at home with the gang was fun - great to reconnect with the Afterlife side. I just which there was a bit more balance. Beyond that...I knew life could not be that easy for them. Sunshine and roses (poppies) only last so long, especially when the Wraiths have not been set free as she vowed. So prophecies were not yet complete. Another crazy adventure with Kiera, the Aunts, and Amelia is on the line. But, why, oh why, do the women never learn. Why all the secrecy? Why not tell the guys or at least leave a note...directions...something? They decide to sneak out and disappear...for who knows how long? Sure the Kings might have tried to stop them, "lock them in the tower", but I thought it was just said there was reasoning and trust. Where is the trust Amelia? Poor Lucius! Let's see how Amelia gets out of this escapade. Can't wait for the next installment.
In "Knights of Past", the previous events are processed so that Amelia and Lucius finally have some time for and with each other. The "War of Souls" was successfully led to victory by Amelia, but as it turns out, the path of her prophecy is not over yet. Rather, the fate of three "Chosen One" seems to overlap; resulting in Amelia and Keira once again leaving Lucius and Dominic behind to go back in time to find the lost Realm to Hyperborea.
What I really liked here was, that the four girls (Amelia, Keira, Pip and Sofia) are together on this journey. Also that they all have a pretty bad conscience (Well, except maybe Pip. LOL) as they have to do it in secret, so their men won't stop them. Honestly though, I hope this journey will come to an end soon as Amelia and Lucius really deserve their HEA and as a reader I can't read all those cliffhangers anymore.
Stephanie Hudson at her best. Oh my Gods, as though the wait for this book hasn’t been tortuous enough, now I will have to wait again for the next one. It has been brilliant catching up with what feels like old friends, and seeing them once again get into a right mess lol. I have of coursed missed the laughter at some of the antics, and definitely missed Pip. What a character 🤣. The story definitely continues, and I wonder what else can happen to our intrepid team of time travellers 😉. That’s all I’m going to say, as I don’t want to spoil it for those who haven’t read it yet.
Ever since I came across Stephanie Hudson's Afterlife saga, I've been hopelessly addicted. This saga of these sexy, brooding alpha Kings finding their Fated Ones and turbulent journeys they each go through in a world full of Angels, Demons, prophecies and healing old wounds while uniting a Supernatural world will have you laughing, crying, yelling and completely satisfied with a shattered soul. I strongly recommend Transfusion and Afterlife to anyone who loves dominant, sexy men and a world that one can actually see as they read you won't regret it!!
This book starts straight after the battle is won and carries on with Lucius visiting Heaven to deliver his daughter's body. Some emotional scenes visited while there, but on his return to Hell and to Amelia, we get quite a lot of the book describing their love and setting the story up for the final chapter. I enjoyed reading about them finding each other again, and to me, it was just as deserved to spend time together without anything hindering their happiness. Of course, this doesn't last, and we find that Amelia's and Keira's destinies are not yet done. Excellent story and pathway into final book. Fab 👍 👌 👏

.....next! Love Stephanie books. I have waited so long for the next transfusion book and read the whole thing in a day because I couldn't put it down. Patience is a virtue I do not possess however so now I find myself now awaiting the continuation of this story and also awaiting the new Hell beast book too. I have re read the entire collection 3 times I love them that much as well as Dravens afterlife and the hidden chapters. I have recommended these books to anyone who is close enough to hear
This series has been such a whirlwind, and spoiler.... If you don't love the beauty of the storyline and the fates strings then too bad. This book made me cry, it has been such a contrast to see how different mother is from daughter. But as much as I will always love Kiera, Amelia is just an amazing being. I absolutely so excited about the next chapter and also love the gals are back!!!
This book had you crying tears of heartfelt joy in the first 4 chapters and then laughing then crying again!!! It was the best of the series!!! Make you actually go through withdrawals until the next book comes out!!!! Has you looking for the spoilers group to talk to someone just to keep what you read and experienced alive!!! Love love love you Stephanie Hudson!!!
This Long awaited part 13 was a much different style in terms of story line. Not so much action and adventure but more sex and romance. Not until around 75% into the book did a new adventure begin to unfold. That said it was nice to see Amelia and Lucius have some peace and also lovely to reintroduce some old characters into the story telling. I would have liked to have seen less typos though which started to annoy me as they seem to be on every other page!!
This didn't start too promisingly for me with all the heavenly and angelic guff making me very uncomfortable. Not my cup of tea, AT ALL! Luckily it didn't go on for too long and I was able to speed read through it. Then it all got very cosy and domesticated, which was yet another thing to get used to. But then... The fun really started! The 4 Queens' foray into the past looks to be a deliciously complicated affair so I'm heading straight for the next book!
In this book it finally looks like Mucous and Amelia have finally found their happy ever after , but have they. Amelia a still troubled by the fact she hasn't released the souls of the wraiths but is happy to be back in the mortal realm at least. The McBain belts have their souls back again and the war is won. So what could go wrong, plenty of course this is after all Amelia we were reading about.
Omg I just ate this UP!!! 😭 I love this world and especially the Transfusion saga. This book specifically was so juicy! I laughed so much and the sexy parts were HOT!!! Love them 💕 love the ties with the other books 📚 My all time Favorite author creating another masterpiece for me to indulge. THANK YOU I can't wait for May!
You have done it again and I loved it. Thank you for continuing to keep us on our toes with these two. I loved the surprises but was not quite ready for the sudden departure of "the girls" to take care of trouble. You left us hanging for sure so we are going to be anxious for the next part.
As usual Stephanie has hit it out of the park with this one. I just can’t get enough of the world she has created. Just when we think our favorite Vampire king and his chosen one are getting to get some romantic down time, fate and destine step in again.
Well I can certainly say I didn’t see that cliffhanger coming! Holy cow! The war is won but the next is on horizon. The madness from Christmas was laughed out loud hilarious! The swoon worthy vows and poppies to make you cry! The boobsketeers are back in action and gods only know what havoc they will create! Can’t wait for the next book!
I am so in love with Stephanie Hudson's books. The story of Amelia Draven and Lucius Septimus took a new exciting turn. How will Amelia get out of this pickle with her mother, and her two Aunts is beyond me. Can't wait for book #14. Stephanie has such a gift, you will become addicted to all of her books.
Yet again Mrs Hudson has done it again what a fantastic instalment to the transfusion saga we see Lucius and Amelia deal with life after winning the war and then how Amelia try’s to find away to free the wraith souls absolutely loved this book and can’t wait for the next instalment and the saga
This book appears to have had no editing. The spelling and grammar mistakes were not simply UK English vs US English. It was bad enough in places that the story didn’t make sense and I had to keep rereading the parts. This is my favorite couple and I hope the next book is better. The prior 12 books did not have this issue.
I want to start by saying that this is my favourite author. This book took me a while to read as for the first 60% it just felt like an epilogue. Please persevere as there are more adventures to come. Only 4 * due to the lengthy epilogue feel at the start. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.
Was anxiously awaiting this book... and I have been disappointed... I think that maybe she's got too many things going on or her proofreader wasn't paying attention... I can usually skip over many errors... but there are so many this time that it had me rereading sentences for context.
I have craved this book , and thankfully I only have to wait another month for the next. Stephanie is such an amazing author and all of her books are equally wonderful. They just suck you in.
Whooo Hooo! Ok so I have been waiting and now I’m on pins and needles AGAIN!! May is coming, but not soon enough! This is fantastic and oh Amelia! Hang on sweetheart!
Ended right at a good part can’t wait for the next installment. I really liked having a dual POV and tying in other stories in the timeline. Amelia is my absolute favorite and I can’t wait to continue her story!
Did not disappoint. This had me from page one to the end. Wish this story could last forever. How MS. Stephanie does it once again is one of life’s great mysteries and I am just grateful to be along for the ride… 10 stars!!!!
So I stayed up all night reading Transfusion 13 and all I can say is wow!!!! Stephanie Hudson outdid herself! The wrap up of the cliffhanger from book 12 was amazing! I absolutely loved every minute of it! ❤️❤️❤️
I’m so sad that this book wasn’t very long. It seemed to go fast. It didn’t seem as long as other books in the series. It was still exceptionally good. That is never an issue. I want more!!!!
