Superhero Princess and the Curse of the Rainbow Fairy

Rate this book
Zara is your typical princess, blonde, gorgeous and awaiting her prince charming. Except for one little slap in the face. Princess Zara is cursed with super powers. You'd think flying, super strength, and the ability to attract small, fuzzy animals would be awesome right? Wrong! Everything Zara touches seems to self-combust. Not to mention the fact that no boy wants to come within a cow's length of her. This poses a problem for her match making mother, who is constantly setting her up with freaky guys.

Fly with Zara as she encounters killer unicorns, mutant carrots, dragons, and evil mermaids that kidnap boys. Everything gets thrown into the air when a new boy named Gunner enrolls in her school and actually accepts her for who she is; monster magnet and all. Suddenly, magical eggs from monsters around her kingdom start to go missing. It's up to Zara to try and figure out who is stealing the monster eggs and why. A giant omelet perhaps? Or something more sinister? You'll laugh your guts out as Zara has some wack-a-do adventures and you'll bite your nails as she encounters one of the greatest battles of her life!

I love action, zombies, paranormal, crazy twists, books that make me laugh right out loud, and surprising endings. I'm an author, singer, and a piano player. I think I'm a little obsessed with writing, but it's what I love to do! I also enjoy helping other authors like me!

Superhero Princess and the Curse of the Rainbow Fairy by Natasha House
Ok so I see a new trend in my reading. This is my second princess book in a week. And I love this one as much as the previous one I have read.
Meet Zara, our princess. She was cursed by a Rainbow Fairy whom resembled skittles on steroids in the crib. And wham, bang our baby princess are attacked by a monster. In all honesty this is the story of her 16 year long life. Monsters attack her every 33 seconds. Ok so more like every 5.33 minutes… Still. Monsters love this girl. Then she meets a boy, not one who is scared of her but she has other troubles. The eggs of the kingdom is missing, dragon eggs. Every kind of egg you can think of and some you cannot. And the parents all want Zara to fix it.
Thing is, Zara has a boy on her mind. She keeps fighting the monsters but the eggs is secondary…
I loved this book. It is light and like candy fluff and Zara has the coolest pet ever. The twist near the end should have been expected and in a way it was but it still came as a bit of a surprise once you realized the agenda.
A really fun read. I am sure you all will love it. I did.

Won this book from first reads. She is beautiful Princess, when she is born all the kingdom comes to give gifts all except The Rainbow Fairy, who places a curse on the baby. I won't say what the curse is, read it to find out! Cute story with little cartoon pictures through out the book and some words written in very bold large print(cute idea). The ending was cute and maybe some more about the Superhero Princess to come!?

This book had me laughing from the first page! The author has quite an imagination. There were creatures that were certainly unique to this book! Zombie Carrots, Tin Can Man, and Ninja Cats, oh my! The ninja cats were my favorite. There were illustrations throughout the book that gave you a look into the artist mind to see the visions of her monsters! She also did a great job of describing them and it was easy to imagine even without the illustrations, but I loved having them in there! Zara is a princess with super powers who has to deal with being considered a freak by her classmates because she is "not normal." This is easily something young kids can relate to. I think this book is fun for kids and adults as long as you enjoy adventure and using your imagination! There is never a dull moment in Zara's life, that's for sure! Normally I don't highlight in books on my kindle, but I did on this one because there were so many awesome moments! And I knew this was my kind of book when she used my favorite word, "buttmunch". I believe the storyline and content deserve 5 stars, but I only gave it a 4 because there are a few errors within, nothing major that takes away from the story, just a few typos a good edit can fix. Still a fantastic read, I look forward to more books by this author!! In fact, I bought her other book Citizen after reading this and am adding it to by TBR list now! Coolest pet ever!

Review:

"Super Hero Princess and the Curse of the Rainbow Fairy," by Natasha Rae House was a truly wonderful children novel. This author was able to make the reader be right on the page with all the packed action that" was going on at that particular time. The description( colors) of all of the animals and even some of the people were simply explained beautiful. Miss Zara was a little princess that was cursed with super powers fighting off..."zombie carrots, evil mermaids and dragons with attitudes....due to The Rainbow Fairy had cursed the princess with the ability of strength, flight, random powers and of attracting all sorts of fuzzy creatures." Now why and when did this happens? How did the Zeuth Ring come into play? I will leave it up to you to read this well written novel to find out. It was be a good read that will be very entertaining for the young ones.

The characters were simply off the chart....funny, funny and funny! I never laughed so hard in my life while reading this during the evening. OK, let's go over a few of those characters ha ha!... Zara, zombies, carrots, mom(Queen Alice) and dad(King Ben), dog butt, monsters, Bolten Lake, Annabelle, Mrs. Fields, Mr. Tellins, Gunner, Mr. Din-Don, Daniel, Mrs. Mints, baby robot, unicorns, Nadi, pooky bear, monkey, Astromeno, pony, Dez, Benjamin, Lady Swatson, Frank, Stehlon, lizard, Cupcake, mouse, Grasshopper, Hopps, Mr. Spider, Mr. Joe, seagull, Melanie, Cassandra, Prince Jacob, Mrs. Kendal, Chelsea, octo-monster, Anita, Prince Elbert, Brent, Gretchen, Zach, Jello boy, ninja cat, maiden, Miss Osis, mermaids, Mrs. Gamesberry, Zeuth Ring, Rainbow Fairy, frog, Grandma, fairy girls, RBF and I am sure that I have left some out.... so you will just have to pick up this wonderful well written "Super Hero Princess and the Curse of the Rainbow Fairy" to find out just who they are and if I missed anyone! The cast was simply well played. I could see this novel as a real cute movie for the little ones because from the reading you could really see all of the colors that would come forth.

If you are into fairies, zombies, monsters....all in good fun..this read: "Super Hero Princess and the Curse of the Rainbow Fairy" would be a wonderful fun read for your children...for they will be well entertained.... I even enjoyed it as a adult so.... I would definitely recommend this novel as a wonderful read for the little ones.

Don’t let the pink fool you. Superhero Princess and the Curse of the Rainbow Fairy is a novel that will take you by surprise. It is hilarious and witty with twists and turns that will have you guessing to the very end. It’s a like a long dream that moves swiftly from one comedic episode to another. Yes, there is a princess, all dressed in pink and yes there is a frog prince and even a curse as well. But that’s where the cliche ends. Because in Superhero princess it is the princess that does all the work, saves the prince and if he doesn’t treat her well enough, there might even be a threat that she will squish him. There is even a food fight and I don’t mean food fight but where food fights. Oh well, what I mean this book is not what anyone expects it to be. The style reminds me greatly of a Diary of a Wimpy Kid and it is just as funny. I loved every page.

This is a wonderful story that captivated not only me but my 5 year old as well. We enjoyed the story very much as we read it together. Superhero Princess is a book that any generation can enjoy, although the book is appealing to the younger generation. If you know of a young child, adolescent, or teen that is into reading, you should definitey get them this book for a gift.

I love this book, I couldn't stop laughing! It's written in a rambling commentary which works for this book. It's funny, unique and refreshing. The author includes cute little sketches to enhanse the experience. I read this to my 7 year old and she loved it.

It has a lot of fun twists and keeps you guessing. There is a princess, a frog and of course a curse. You'll love it too!

The story is that Zara is a teenage princess who was cursed as a baby by the Rainbow Fairy. The curse is two-sided. On the one hand, she has superpowers! She’s super strong, fast and can fly. How cool is that?! On the other hand, she has to fight off attacks from also-often-superpowered animal monsters (well mostly) like, every 5 minutes. So she’ll be at school or a party and boom some crazy, freak monster appears and she has to save the world (or at least her kingdom). [See full review at http://cellardoorians.com/who-doesnt-...].

Honestly, this book was better than I expected. I picked it up out of curiosity (and the crazy title). The story was fast paced and fun. Definitely a unique take on the pretty princess genre. I felt it could have been better edited (some glaring grammar errors and word misusage took me out of the story a few times). Overall, I enjoyed this book.

Tuhle knížku pro holky jsem přečetl omylem. Příběh osmileté princezničky se schopnostmi supermana a jejího jednorožce prdícího duhu. Nápadité. Vydržel jsem až do konce. Ale vážně nejsem cílovka téhle knížky.

At first I didn't quite get where the story was going but once I got into a few pages I was really surprised at how much I was enjoying this story. It has great little graphics and is an easy read.
