The Classroom in a Book series are an excellent way to get familiar with the features of an Adobe program. This book succeeded admirably in that goal. It was also very evident that it would take an enormous amount of time to become familiar, much less proficient, at all the features of this program.

The "Classroom in a Book" edition is very helpful for the newbies. It teaches you the basics and the best practices to use. But if you want to go deeper you need to read other books/articles/blogs or watch videos... The benefit of reading the book is that he gives you the ingredients so you can go further with no problem.
