The REP is a serious reference text, reputed to be the 'go to' source for general philosophical enquiries on the university philosophy course I was on. With multiple authors contributing to it and ten hefty volumes in length, I can't say I'll be reading a significant percentage of it or even sample work by every expert.

So far. I like the clarity of what I've read, the clear exposition of ideas, and references to other texts pertinent to the topic provided at the end of each entry. Using the latter, I intend to use the REP as a stepping stone to pursue my current area of study.

I am very glad to be able to use this work and appreciative of the foresight, commitment and the collated expertise that went into creating it.
