Adolf Hitler is the most notorious political figure of the twentieth century. A textbook worth reading

While not a book for readers of Kershaw or Toland, etc; it has a great many excellent insights making this a book worthy of your read.

An historical biography in chronological movements that intersects new and recent research, thus providing a more accurate portrayal of this enigmatic figure that personifies evil and may provide echos of political figures in our current context.

Additionally, I am always intrigued by the questioned I and other conscientious objectors have been asked by our inquisitors, "What about Hitler?" While this questions gets at so much more, like where was the church in Germany (and the Western world) at the time? Hitler's life is a piece of the answer that is clearly interconnected. The text shows that Hitler's rise is the rise of a leader Germany sadly and inevitably looked for while the church unfaithfully stood still.
