I reccommend you don't read these horror stories alone and at night because you never know who or what could be watching you.
Not to worry, because these horror stories of creatures, ghosts, ghouls and pure evil will most likely keep you up at night anyway. Sweet dreams!
An anthology of short stories for quick reads, ghosts & hauntings, absurdist horror and occult & paranormal. For older teens, young adults and adults.
I was very enthusiastic about the first volume of that series, but what about the second? 9 stories prove that the editor didn't lose his touch. The same authors come up with marvelous eerie stuff: Acid Funhouse describe what's going on in a sinister funhouse, in The Telepath you see a duel between fake and real (one of my favorites), Half shows how much a young man does for his new love, Strangled sees older self and younger self (quite bizarre), We all have secrets is a unusual campfire story with a very nasty twist, Filthy Rich Bloodsuckers is about blood theft (very critical), Wormwalkers makes you see creepy crawlies in a different light, The Living Room underline the danger of aliens next door, The Red Room point out the dangers of the dark net... fresh stories from young authors I really enjoyed. Sinister, strange, horror the way it should be. Definitely will turn to volume 3 now. Highly recommended!
If you need a fun read but don't have time to sit for a long time, then this is a great series to have. All the authors are good story tellers and were able to grab my attention and that's rare for an anthology.
