Rate this book
The second book in a new series of short horror anthology stories for adults, young adults and older teens.◆Welcome to the Twisted Library series, where you will be able to browse the many tales of terror.

This collection of nine chilling horror and suspense stories delve into the realm of things that go bump in the night, demonic beings that live amongst us, evil that lurks within our minds, skin-crawling moments and nightmares beyond anything you can ever imagine.

Here is a brief look at the terrifying stories that may cause you to stay up at

★ Acid Funhouse - When a strange interactive walk through horror attraction comes to town, Ben wants answers as he holds the group responsible for his younger sisters disappearance. Ben and his friends investigate the funhouse only to discover the pure horror of what really lies within.

★ The Telepath - A man who claimed to possess telepathic abilities was at the peak of his popularity when his regular show was suddenly contested by a masked psyshic without a name. In his efforts to salvage his career, he discovered that his mysterious competition was far more than just a man with clever gimmicks.

★ Half - When a young man falls for a woman who transforms into a man-eating monster at night, he has to pass a test to prove his love for her. Will he succumb to fear first or will his passion bear any fruit?

★ Strangled - He is transported to a version of his childhood home as he slowly gets strangled, attached to a cable on the ceiling of a factory. He finds his old and younger self in that apartment, and a creature from deep beneath the pit of his worst fears trapped in the living room. They must try to do anything to keep the creature contained, to not let it out.

★ We All Have Secrets - A group of friends head out camping in the middle of nowhere. With a few bumps along the way, they settle in for the night and begin to play a drinking game. They soon learn that they all have secrets, but some are far more sinister than others.

★ Filthy Rich Bloodsuckers - College students are being violently attacked and the victims are left battered and traumatized as an unknown group of predators are benefiting from the blood being harvested.

★ Wormwalkers - What was once your flesh, is no longer your own. As a man's own body begins to experience skin crawling changes.

★ The Living Room - Danny is ten, and he loves anything to do with aliens from space. His most recent obsession is with his new neighbors who he beleives are actually from outer space! However, his neighbors are not cute, green or friendly.

★ The Red Room - Josie had a morbid fascination with suffering and death. Out of curiousity she began to browse the Dark Web only to come across a live feed from The Red room.

I reccommend you don't read these horror stories alone and at night because you never know who or what could be watching you.

Not to worry, because these horror stories of creatures, ghosts, ghouls and pure evil will most likely keep you up at night anyway.
Sweet dreams!

I was very enthusiastic about the first volume of that series, but what about the second? 9 stories prove that the editor didn't lose his touch. The same authors come up with marvelous eerie stuff: Acid Funhouse describe what's going on in a sinister funhouse, in The Telepath you see a duel between fake and real (one of my favorites), Half shows how much a young man does for his new love, Strangled sees older self and younger self (quite bizarre), We all have secrets is a unusual campfire story with a very nasty twist, Filthy Rich Bloodsuckers is about blood theft (very critical), Wormwalkers makes you see creepy crawlies in a different light, The Living Room underline the danger of aliens next door, The Red Room point out the dangers of the dark net... fresh stories from young authors I really enjoyed. Sinister, strange, horror the way it should be. Definitely will turn to volume 3 now. Highly recommended!

Great read

If you need a fun read but don't have time to sit for a long time, then this is a great series to have. All the authors are good story tellers and were able to grab my attention and that's rare for an anthology.
