He's lost his voice. She's here to teach him to speak to the world again.
Faith I love helping people communicate that can't. It’s why I became an ASL teacher. Getting to work with military men and women who were injured in action? Sign me up. I can’t think of a better way to help. I pride myself on keeping things professional…until him. The letters he writes allow me to get to know him on such deep level. He has me believing in love even if I try not to cross that line.
Logan I remember the plane going down, then nothing. I woke up months later in the hospital, a few nasty scars… and no voice. Basic communication has become a nightmare and I’ve never felt so alone even with all the people around. Then Faith shows up teaching me how to communicate with sign language and with modern advances on my phone and tablet. Our daily walks turn into nightly text messages, and I begin to think Faith might be able to heal my heart too. Until the one day that my whole world is turned upside down…

There was something about this one that had a quiet kind of tone (no pun intended), there wasn't any drama, just a bit of miscommunication that happened towards the end that was forgiven pretty quickly. It was easy to see Logan question so much about his life now that he couldn't talk, how he felt helpless in the direction of his life. Staying at Oakside and working with Faith showed him how he could alter his life and still have a good life. I really thought he got that, until he got the not so bright idea to take off.
During his walkabout, he definitely learned how to navigate normal life, but the best lessons where learned with new buddy's sister and husband. I loved how the couple had some very frank talks with Logan and showed him what he thought was true wasn't.
I liked that Faith forgave Logan and they worked on building their relationship the right way from here. It made the ending with the surprise announcement all the sweeter!

Back at Oakside where injured military come to receive help and find their way again, we have Logan’s story. Logan was injured during a flight mission and he lost his voice, so now he is having to learn a whole new way of living and communicating. Dreading having to endure so much he isn’t looking forward to all he has to do in order to get his life back, until Faith walks in as his ASL teacher. Faith is this incredible person who never sees Logan as having a disadvantage but she is always there lifting him up and showing him how incredible he can be with other options out there to guide him and the more time they spend together they can’t fight the chemistry.
Saving Logan by Kaci Rose is a beautiful, sweet, and very well written book. I was instantly hooked from the beginning.
We meet Logan, a former Navy pilot who was injured in plane crash causing injury to his vocal chords. He feels worthless and gets lost in his thoughts, thinking that the two things he wants; a wife and kids; are now lost to him, he believes he doesn't have anything to offer to anyone. Then he meets Faith, and he's instantly attracted to her. Through journaling and their time spent together during his stay at Oakside, they form a deep connection.
Being Logan is Faith's patient, she does everything she can to try to keep it professional, but neither of them can help how they feel about each other. When taling about the future, Logan begins to panic and feels he has a lot to prove so he can give Faith the life she deserves. Instead of commuinicating that to her though, he runs off. He realizes later on that he really made a mistake, so now he has to prove to Faith that he's sorry and can be the man that he feels she deserves.
This book was so sweet, it intanstly hooked me from the start. Yet another great book in the Oakside series and I can't wait to read Zane's story.
4/5 stars, only because I got teenager vibes from Logan in the way he would act or the things he would say, especially for being a Navy pilot. But all in all it was great book, and a very quick and easy read.

I absolutely loved this book and couldn't put it down and still left wanting more. Logan lost his voice and will never be able to talk again and with the help of oakside hospital for injured military men and women it is like rehab and bed and breakfast setting with everything you could possibly need. Faith is working with Logan with sign language and other forms of communication but when feelings form can they find away to be together or will he leave and break her heart? Great story and absolutely love this series.

After surviving a helicopter crash, yet the results leave you wondering what your life will be like. The life he once knew would have to be different, but how? He has met someone who has made him feel things, but who will want someone who cannot speak? The changes, adapting to his new situation, the mistrust of his entire situation, his feelings of inadequacies. This story will touch your heart, pull at your heart strings and make you believe in yourself and your abilities and dreams.
Logan has lost his voice in a plane crash. Faith is at Oak side to help him learn how to communicate without it. Logan and Faith built a nice relationship and of course things get a little spicy. Not super spicy so if you want a lot of spice it is not in this book.

Saving Logan: A Military Romance is book 6 in the Oakside Military Heroes by Kaci Rose, up next is Logan and Faith.
Logan was injured during a plane crash and lost his voice permanently but can hear. After his military discharge, recovery and sent to Oakside to further his healing and learn to communicate a different way. In steps Faith, to teach him other ways to speak…writing by hand or computer and sign language (ASL).
This is an amazing series and would highly recommend. Also you could read as a standalone, I would recommend reading as a series. The book gets you hooked and wanting to know what happens next. Great characters and storyline, full of emotion, chemistry and drama.

5dA rather intense read as Logan begins the rehabilitation of his life, after he and his bestfriend were in a plane crash ending both their military careers. Logan lost the use of his voice from the crash so he was sent to Oakside for his final phase of healing. Oakside was a wonderful place for military men and women to be sent for their rehabilitation with private rooms, the one on one personal care each person gets, and everything they will need will be on the grounds including all of doctors appointments, physical therapy, and any other service required to send the patients back to active duty or home to a reasonably functioning life. Logan being their first patient that was unable to speak. They hired Faith to teach him ASL. It seemed from the first day, they started working together there was a spark between them. They wrote journals back and forth to each other everyday through the week. Faith did everything to keep their meetings professional, but their attraction was electrifying. Logan still worried about being able to provide a normal life for Faith so he left to strike out on his own to see if he could use what she had taught him to survive. Also, he talked to the sister of one of the patients at Oakside that had been death from birth of how her and her husband did it. He did not tell Faith in person, when he left leaving a note behind, because he was afraid she would talk him out it, but he had been a strong independent military man raised to take care of his woman, and right then he was less than confident in that ability.

I don’t know what I can say about Saving Logan that I haven’t already said about every other book f/this series. It’s phenomenal, beautifully written, excellent characters & hooks you right in. Once I start any book by Kaci I can’t put it down. I absolutely love her writing style. And Oakside series is one of my all time favorites, I’m going to be so sad to see it come to an end. Logan was injured when his plane crashed, causing not only scars but him to lose his voice. Feeling worthless, he gets lost in his head & thinks everything he’s ever really wanted- a wife & kids, is now impossible. He believes he doesn’t have anything to offer anyone. When he meets Faith he’s instantly attracted to her, & through their journaling back & forth they form a deep connection. Faith is also attracted to Logan, but being he’s her patient, she does everything to keep it professional. But neither are able to stop- nor do they want to, their feelings for each other. Only when they talk about the future, Logan panics & he knows he needs to prove a lot to himself before he can give Faith a future they both want. But instead of talking to her, he does something that makes her break her trust in him. Once he realizes his mistake, & that he really dug himself into a hole, he really has to prove to Faith what he wants. This was another great story in the series, & I can’t wait for Zane’s story next! I also really want to see Mike get a book.
As a SLP myself, I am in love with this story. Logan is a former Navy pilot who lost his voice from injuries sustained in a crash. Faith is the therapist that is assigned to teach him ASL as well as training him to use an AAC device; both of these are alternatives to vocal speech. The journey that he goes on to learn a new way to talk is an exceptional read. The hard work, the dedication, the roller coaster of emotions, and the end result that we are hoping for. Growing comfortable in their new language enough to be able to function and then thrive in their new normal.
These characters were also really amazing. Faith and Logan are really working toward something amazing together. I loved the journal entries that they wrote to each other. The excitement and expectation when they know they will see each other. The slow build of deep feelings and a solid future. Now realistically it’s obviously an ethical issue and not just an employment issue to get involved with a patient and to talk about that patient with other people without their permission. However this is also a fictional romance so we put aside reality and just enjoy the beautiful ride that Kaci Rose is going to take us on as her readers. This book is definitely a good one and I recommend this as a must read now as well as a re-read later.

Following an aircraft crash, Navy pilot Logan has been in and out of consciousness for the past few months. Not that he is are of anything following the crash other than waking up at Oakside and realising that he has permanently lost the use of his voice. Still adjusting he opens his mouth to talk before remembering his new reality. Oakside manager Lexi coming to see him and let him know that Faith will be stopping by to start his new communication techniques.
Working at Oakside, Faith loves helping military veterans with their various communication aids. Having briefly met Logan last week she heads to visit him again today to start his therapy. Coming prepared with a tablet with ASL videos for him to practice with when she is not around, text to speech program as well as two journals. One of which they will pass between them with questions, thoughts and things they each want to share.
Feeling a connection to each other Faith attempts to keep things professional between them as they learn more about each other’s lives. Their journal provides an insight into their pasts, presents and plans for the future. As they share a kiss Logan can’t believe how amazing life feels with Faith in it. She opens his eyes to new possibilities but he is still hesitant about the future and whether his previous dreams for a wife, children etc are now not realistic.
This is book six in The Oakside Military Heroes series and it is Logan and Faith’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. When Logan is seriously injured in a plane accident that damaged his voice box and unable to speak again he ends up going to stay at Oakside where he will have a qualified professional helping him to learn sign language and have other aids so that he can communicate with people and Logan knows that his life is going to be totally different now because all he knew was the military way of life so he was unsure what the future now holds for him. When Logan and Faith meet for the first time the attraction and chemistry between them is instant and the more time that they spent together the stronger it grew but what happens when mistakes are made causing complications and upset, will they be able to repair the damage and misunderstandings and find there way back to each other and get the future that they both deserve. I absolutely loved this book and the characters and storyline pulled me in and had me turning the pages to see what the outcome would be for Logan and Faith. I definitely recommend that you read this book and you will not be disappointed and I can’t wait to read more books in this amazing series.
His Reasons To Succeed - Logan was still trying get his head around his new reality of not being able to communicate, when Faith came into his life to teach him a new form of communication. Whilst he took to learning like a duck takes to water, he was still struggling with what his future would look like with regards relationships, jobs and making new friends. However, what he didn’t expect was for his growing attraction for Faith to be reciprocated and for her to give him the hope of having a wonderful life.
Unfortunately, Logan’s insecurities about their future together caused him to make a decision that nearly cost their relationship, but he soon realised that his procrastination could cost him a happily ever after, if he didn’t make things right and fight for them to get their happily ever after. This was a truly amazing story, that had me hooked from the beginning. The stories in the Oakside Military Heroes series may be fictional, but they also have an element of realism to it, because there are soldiers who suffer from the issues in the stories and unfortunately don’t have a place like Oakside to help them. Please find a way to support the heroes in your country.

This is the story of Logan and Faith. He was injured in a plane crash while in the military and he damaged his voice box so he cannot speak. That means he needs to use tablets to speak for him and learn sign language. Faith is brought in to teach him to communicate. Then romance happens for these two. While romance is not taboo in this story, they are asked to keep it quiet.
I am a big fan of Kaci Rose and I really adore this series. But this story was a bit too quiet for me. I really did not feel the love/attraction between Faith and Logan. He also seemed not to care that he lost his voice. He acclimated pretty easily too.
Then he decides he needs space, semed to happen awfully fast. I respected what he did but it just seemed out of nowhere and then he treats Faith awfully. I understood that it was something he needed to do but I would have wanted it to lead up to it. Not just for it to happen so suddenly.
This was a good story and I found it interesting how he could communicate. I also really liked Faith and Logan as characters. I just didn't love the story like I had the other books on the series.

Logan and Faith are so good together! Their story is sweet with just a hint of spice. Like all good romances, this book also includes a bit of angst and emotional turmoil. The loss of his voice has thrown Logan for a loop. His whole world has changed and he feels that without his voice he will have major limitations. The strong, confident Navy pilot is feeling isolated and far too vulnerable when he arrives at Oakside, a rehabilitation centre for military veterans. Working with Faith, his beautiful ASL teacher, gives him a way to communicate and the first rays of hope for his future. As they get to know each other, Logan and Faith realize that their feelings for each other are more than just those of friends. Both fall head long into love, despite the risk of her losing her job over their intimate relationship. As he gets closer to finishing his time at Oakside, Logan’s doubts lead him to take a risk of his own, one that may cost him any hope of a future with Faith. So many others have found love and a happily ever after at Oakside. Will Logan and Faith?.

Whenever I see a new Oakside book out I do my little happy dance. This series is one that I thoroughly enjoy reading and Ms. Rose's new book, Saving Logan, is one that is gripping and worth every minute of reading it. She delivers a story of two people that come together because one needs help after a serious accident in the military and one is the person who is going to do just that, help. Logan lost his voice in a plane crash and is now at Oakside for help and therapy. Faith is the person assigned to him to teach him how to sign and be able to live a "normal" life. They have an instant connection but Faith is worried about him being her patient. Logan is determined to show Faith that he is willing to try anything to make himself a better person and be the one she wants. Although the road that they are travelling is not smooth and there is a fork or two that they have to decide which direction they want to take, they do meet at the end. This series is one of my absolute favourites and with each storyline that Ms. Rose writes, I find myself getting lost in the world of Oakside. I suggest adding Saving Logan to your TBR list as well as the other books in this series.

We are back in Oakside, where former military men and women go to recuperate and find a new purpose in life. All this, after experiencing an accident during combat, that ends their careers and leaves many of them at a loss. Logan is one of these men. A former Navy pilot, he lost the capacity to speak after an aircraft accident. Luckily, Faith becomes his therapist. As she helps him navigate his new reality using ASL. a tablet, videos and journals, he sees a future not only for himself but one with Faith. But what happens when he leaves to find himself and test his ability to navigate life by himself without telling Faith? Will Faith consider it abandonment? Though I am partial to Noah’s, Easton’s, Gavin’s and Teddy’s stories, this one still was a good addition to the series. It was also a reminder of the struggles that not only those brave men and women endure upon their return to civilian life , especially after an injury, but also those experienced by their loved ones. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Booksprout. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Logan was in the armed forces and due to a crash has damaged his voice box to the point that he will never speak again. He is convalescing at Oakside, where he learns American Sign Language in order for him to communicate. All of his doctor visits and physical therapy is contained at Oakside. As well as any other therapies. Faith is the person teaching him. They are drawn to each other. Lexi and her husband are the owners of Oakside. Logan’s co-pilot, Jenkins lost his sight, and is also at Oakside with his wife, Melody helping. I found all the non ASL learning tricks to communicate very interesting. Especially the talking tablet. My grandfather is blind and I wish he would let me get him something other than a flip phone.
I like how they explain that it is ok to be upset and frustrated and that healing is a journey and it is a hard one. Sometimes it is your mind or your body that is ready, but sometimes the other isn’t ready. I like how they say that just because you have a disability doesn’t mean you are disabled. I really enjoyed learning about this. I think I’ll be able to use some of it to help my grandpa. Great read. Can’t wait for the next book!
Also, the book has a few misunderstandings due to miscommunication. Of course it is Logan’s fault because he wants to do things without anyone’s help. Stupid man.

I absolutely loved Saving Logan: A Military Romance Book 6 of Oakside Military Heroes. This series is so amazing. You don’t have to read them in order but I love when I start at the beginning and the characters are intertwined. Logan lost his ability to speak when he was injured in a plane crash. Faith will be teaching him ASL as well as other ways to communicate with people. They have an amazing connection from the beginning. Although it’s wrong since Logan is her patient, Faith can’t help but fall for him. Logan wants a future with Faith but when he starts to question his own abilities he knows he has to try life without her but unfortunately goes about it the wrong way. Has he lost Faith forever? Can he convince her he never meant to hurt her but had things ti prove to himself? This is just such an amazing series. I love all the characters and their stories evoke so many emotions. I would definitely recommend this book.

A beautiful and toughing addition to this series. Logan, a Navy pilot, still doesn’t remember much of the plane crash or the injury to his throat which has caused him to lose his voice. The injury is permanent and he has been transferred to Oakside, a home like facility for veterans who need to recover. He is introduced to Faith who will be teaching him sign language. She is beautiful and kind and will show him how he will survive in this new life. He believes that he is damaged goods, how can he marry or have children, especially children when he wouldn’t be able to warn them if they were in danger? Faith tells him that he can have a full and active life and as they work together the feelings between them can’t be denied. He realizes that he has fallen in love with her, but it is important to him that he can take care of himself in the world away from Oakside. Living on his own, without Faith, has he proven that he can make it, but has he lost her in the process? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)
This was my first book in this series and I absolutely loved it! Logan lost the ability to speak when he was flying a military plane and it crashed. He’s been sent to Oakside, a military rehabilitation centre that’s more like a B-n-B with medical assistance. Logan is unsure how he’ll manage in his new everyday life until Faith walks into his room. Faith is at the centre to teach Logan ASL and teach him other ways of communicating without his voice. From the moment they meet there’s a spark between them that grows over time. Faith is an amazing woman who doesn’t see Logan as disabled. She’s caring and supportive and more then willing to show him he will find a fulfilling life after he leaves the centre. Logan knows he loves Faith but is determined to prove to himself and Faith that he is capable of doing everything he wants to do in life and be able to take care of her and any future family. A heart wrenching story filled with love and compassion. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
YAY we’re back in Oakside. In Ethan’s book he had already left there and I really missed that setting. Logan was in a plane crash and is now unable to speak. He goes to Oakside and that’s where he meets Faith, his ASL teacher. I loved seeing them get to know each other and it wasn’t super insta-love. They wrote a lot of letters and got to know each other and fell in love after that. Seeing Logan worrying about not being able to give her kids because it wouldn’t be safe for him to be alone with them being that he can’t speak was heartbreaking. Hearing the stories from others in his situation was so eye opening for him and really gave him hope. One thing I was pissed about and that always makes me mad in books is when the person “leaves to find themselves” and in the process they leave the people closest to them worried and scared. Ugh. This man frustrated me even though I understood I just wished he would text her and tell her he was at least okay. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this one!!!
This is another fantastic book in this series and there are a couple of off shoot books in other series that are all set in Oakside a place where injured military not only find a way to rebuild there lives but also find the one person that completes them
After been injured in a plane crash Logan a Navy Pilot has to learn to communicate again after his voice box is destroyed the person tasked with helping him is ASL teacher Faith We have met her before as she was Mia's flat mate. What neither expected is the instant connection between them and while she may fight it because she believes it is unprofessional Logan is all in. Once again the wounded warrior makes a decision about how to handle things without talking it through managing to break loved ones heart but we know ion the end that love will conquer all.
These are fairly shortish reads with no major drama or angst perfect for a bit of escapism
Saving Logan by Kaci Rose is another beautiful story in her Oakside Military Heroes Series. All the books in this series show how despite a devastating injury, there is always hope and a way to learn to live happily again. Logan has been medically discharged from service due to the loss of his voice. Faith is the therapist charged with helping him learn ASL and acclimate to his new normal. While Logan and Faith feel an immediate attraction, Faith has not had much luck with past relationships, and is also hesitant to cross a line with a patient. Logan doesn’t feel worthy of marriage and family; he cannot fathom being able to protect and care for those who would depend on him. Through therapy and heartfelt letters they write each other each day, they help one another heal and find happiness. This is a steamy, standalone, in a connected series, with a HEA. I highly recommend any story in this series.
This is the story of Logan and Faith which is told beautifully by Kaci.
Logan is a military man who is left without a voice after his plane crashes. Although he is still able to hear, he struggles living in a hearing world without a voice. He is taken from hospital to Oakside and is then introduced to Faith who will teach him sign language.
Faith is pleased to assist Oakside with their newest patient, and feels an instant attraction as she meets Logan.
Their chemistry and friendship develops despite their professional relationship and both can see a future together.
Can Logan overcome his insecurities and allow Fatih to be there for him? Can he trust that she is there for the right reasons?
This story covers a very real and sensitive subject, but is told beautifully and is another must read from the Oakside Military Heroes series.
Thoroughly recommended.

Kaci has this way to pull you into a story with such heart, kindness, and understanding.
This book was fantastic. It's a great story of Logan having to learn how to live life on a whole brand new set of terms. Faith was a brought into Logan's life to help him adjust, but they both bonded in such a way they couldn't stay away from each other if they wanted to.
I really enjoyed that with this story not everything goes well, but each things lends to learning how life works in this new world for them. Life after injury is never simple or easy, but sometimes the fight is worth it!! I identify so much with Faith as her role as a care giver, being one myself.
If you had any doubt...let me quell it now. READ This book. BUY the series, give yourself the best read you'll get in awhile!!!!!.
