Love as a way of life makes it possible for us all to live humanely within a culture of domination as we work for change. The radical nature of love is that it is profoundly democratic. Irrespective of our status and station in life we can choose love; we can choose to leave dominator thinking behind.
Progressive religious beliefs which extol the virtues of compassion, a love ethic, and sharing of resources are needed if we are to rekindle a spirit of resistancewhere domination is always challenged and opposed. The radical religious left needs to come together and create a public voice for itself.
