My First Animal Signs

Children are able to communicate by signing before they develop the skills necessary for speech. By teaching sign language to children from as young as seven months we can help them to convey their emotions and their needs. This signing guide for hearing and deaf children contains forty-eight animal signs taken from British Sign Language. Babies and toddlers are illustrated using the signs for a range of domestic, wild and exotic animals, as well as mini-beasts and birds.

Thanks to my obsession with Sue Thomas F.B. Eye I have wanted to learn some basic signs...so I ordered this series. I really like the simple illustrations and clear written instructions of the sings. Good for me a beginner and good for babies! The version of the book I have is ASL American Sign Language!
