The Escort's Endgame: A romantic erotica suspense story

Rate this book
“Better to explore life and make mistakes than to play it safe and not explore at all” – Sophia Loren

Reassuringly expensive and with discretion assured, Miranda Stewart is a jet-setting, high-end escort to her affluent clients in glamorous European locales. For her level of reward, Miri is fluid and flexible and provides full girlfriend experiences that satisfy both men’s and women’s desires, fulfilling their fantasies.

Yet, for all her superficial glamor, Miri hides a dark past… one that caused her to flee, aged 18, from her politically powerful Scottish family and live a decade of homelessness and struggle in London. Miri climbed out of the gutter—on her terms—to live life to the full. Today, she revels in her encounters, especially with her female clients. In the most popular and glitzy hotspots of Europe, Miri mixes with the 'eliterati' in luxury hotels and aboard superyachts, driving supercars and attending movie premieres.

Until now… Someone has discovered her secret identity. Suspecting who her blackmailer could be, Miri works to turn the tables and keep her identity hidden. She’ll do what she must to protect her dreams of living a safe and secure life on the secluded Italian haven of Lake Como.

But when Miri meets somebody new, somebody who awakens sexual highs and emotions she’s never before experienced, she questions her dreams. They have never included love. Is that what’s happening with this tempting, alluring, and oh-so-sexy woman to whom she feels impossibly attracted and instantly connected?

When you walk the thin line between secrecy and discovery, the unexpected can have life-changing effects. Miri might now have more to live for than ever… but only if she is finally prepared to stop running away from, and finally embrace, what real life has to offer.

All roads lead ultimately to Rome, via London, Paris, Monte Carlo, and Cannes for Miri, her friends and enemies, and a Fiat 500 (or two).

The Escort’s Endgame is an erotic tale of suspense, liberation, and romance and features adult language and material, with steamy, sensual, and emotionally charged FF erotic scenes, with brief MF scenes for plot.

The Escort’s Endgame collects Tierney Moore’s The Seductive Escort Series trilogy in one fully complete story.

I'm Tierney—copyeditor, ghostwriter, writer... owner of one farmhouse that sleeps a small family.

I’m fortunate to live in the rolling hills of Surrey, England, home to our little family that includes the prerequisite one dog (Perro) and one cat (Gizmo), who generally all get along… with me at least.

After some years as a copyeditor and a ghostwriter, I began The Seductive Escort Series, my debut series under this name. I rather like my character Miri, who is sort of based on me. Bits of her, anyway (and no, I better not tell you which bits!). I hope you'll like her too.

I spent several years working as a flight attendant for a global airline company, visiting all the locales my seductive escort character Miri Stewart does. Some of the encounters I write about are based on real experiences I enjoyed or (happily) witnessed or (eagerly) heard about as related by colleagues.

I enjoy lots of different things… this & that—as long as they’re either naughty or nice. Or preferably both.

I read all sorts of fiction. I’m a sucker for rom-coms, anything comedic really. I love mystery/thriller/suspense stories (wish I was clever enough to write one!), as well as light sci-fi.

This is a story about Miranda “Miri” Stewart and her escapades as a high class escort. Miri comes from a privileged upper class background and has chosen to remake herself doing what she loves - having sex with strangers for money, a lot of money. With added travel to fabulous cities, fancy hotels, excellent food and very nice clothes.

I enjoyed the first two novellas best and found her back story very well written. I liked her hook up with Cara and the mystery of who her blackmailer was. My suspicion held true and I was right in who the villain was . The third book seemed out of character for Miri and I needed more emotion to make it feel right. It was too quick and I didn’t feel like I got to know her love interest well enough.

There was some good humor it the book and the sex scenes were all hot!!

I would recommend this book if you are in the mood for some spicy reading and a great leading character to root for. I hope Tierney Moore writes us a few more episodes about Miri and her exciting life.

As this was the first erotica novel I have ever read, I wasn't certain what to expect going into The Escort's Endgame. What a pleasant surprise! While the sex scenes were aplenty, I found Ms. Moore had wound a beautiful, page-turning, suspense story from start to finish, with a vast array of supporting characters lighting the way.
The protagonist, Miri, is well-rounded and multidimensional, and the reader is rooting for her to succeed in her quest for a peaceful retirement from the get-go. Combined with the lovely settings, the ambiance is as charming as the parade of lovers through Miri's life.
Will a happy ending prevail? Grab a copy and find out!

I absolutely loved the storyline in this book. There were so many twists with all of the characters sometimes you didn't know what was going to happen. This book had it all: suspense, romance, who-done-it, even erotica! Keep up the good work. Kudos for this wonderful book

Its not often you come across an erotica book that actually has a decent storyline. However, this book has it.
Miranda Stewart or Miri has a past. It is one she likes to keep hidden . Having dragged herself up from a bad period in her life she is working as a high end escort. Her dream is to earn enough money so that she can retire to Lake Como and live a simple life.
Her job enables her to attend the best places and travel in style. Meeting interesting people along the way. Miri is protective of her life and values her secrecy. Her world is about to come crashing down. Someone is blackmailing her. They want a huge sum of money to not reveal her life and her past. Miri has to come out fighting to save her life.
Yes there is plenty of sex in the book. Mainly girl on girl. But its the right amount for the storyline and gets you a little hot under the collar. Pity the boyfriend was at work.
Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to see an ARC

The escorts endgame is a great sapphic romance. I love that the book is continuously exciting and fun to read but is not too long. You can easily finish this in one or two days if you have the time. Also the chapters were perfect length, about 5-10 pages. The writing is extremely easy to read which makes this book so good. But the author is also very capable to write pretty detailed, this gives you great scenarios while reading and makes the imagining much easier.

This book is about an escort who does a lot of business with men and women but is actually a lesbian. She has a dark past which comes back to haunt her during the story. She has to keep her identity hidden to protect herself which keeps the story suspenseful the whole time.

The next thing that wasn’t for me was the fact that often especially in the beginning the book was written like it was a tutorial to be an escort. Example by using the words ‘escort 101’ and then giving an explanation or tip. It feels like they are talking to me. That’s just not my style of book.

The last thing is that there are a lot of French sentences used that are not translated. The sentences are not always very easy and I don’t understand many of them.

These criticisms I just mentioned are all personal taste. I still really enjoyed the books and I know many people who I will recommend it to because they actually like what I mentioned. I will definitely be buying more of the author in the future and am very curious on how she’ll grow!

I received this arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book can be read as a standalone as it's the combination of all three books into one. There's mystery, erotica, blackmail and a love story. It is a quick read that may leave you wanting more.

I've just decided to post my review of the separate Seductive Escort volumes again after the whole Seductive Escort Series has been published as a whole.

First of all, let’s get the most obvious out of the way: Yes, the whole series belongs to the erotica genre, which means that sex plays an important role in the trilogy. There is A LOT of sex in the three books – hot, steamy, graphic, explicit (sometimes maybe a little bit too explicit for my personal taste ...) sex scenes. If you’re only looking for erotica, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth (even though I guess that the lesbian readers will get a little more out of it than the male readers ;-)).
But there’s much more to the book series than meets the eye.
Actually, it’s very clear right from the start that the author (who has even placed a poem at the beginning of each volume of the series!) is an excellent writer who effortlessly manages to capture the very own mood and ambience of the prevailing settings. That’s why while reading, you easily feel like you have been transported to the lightness of Paris or the beauty of Monte Carlo, or you can feel the breath of history in Rome. And if you really concentrate, you‘ll even be able to smell the fragrance of the flowers in the sceneries she has just depicted with a few, but usually the ideal words.
So it’s little wonder that she just as easily succeeds in describing the personality of the main character and first-person narrator Miri. We get to know very soon that she’s officially a flight attendant for the rich and famous – and in secret, she’s an escort for the rich and famous ...
But the fact that she’s getting paid for her company, which usually includes sex with her male or female clients, doesn’t really have a chance to make me, as a feminist, uncomfortable, since Miri unequivocally states that SHE’s the one in charge. It’s always her who makes the decisions in her “hook-ups”, which often means that she, actually a lesbian woman, manipulates her male clients to get what she wants (or rather, not to get what she doesn’t want).
In the crime part of the story, we get to know that she’s definitely able to defend herself, also physically – and we get to know why, since an important, quite astonishing part of her background story is revealed in the course of the plot line.
And as soon as the reader starts to be a bit intimidated by her attractiveness, her glamour, her skills, her wealth, her superiority, the author shows that Miri is still only human, for example when she turns out to be an avid collector of coffee mugs, in her hilarious banters with her best buddy Robbie or her passion for music, reading, films and TV series. The fact that she reads Margaret Atwood novels, repeatedly asks herself in dicey situations what her hero Ripley from the “Alien” films would do (a very feminist approach, by the way!) wins the reader over immediately and makes her very likeable.
All these aspects of Miri’s life make her a fascinating, yet ambivalent person who seems to live in two different worlds at the same time. And soon you begin to realize that she’s torn between this discrepancy between appearance and reality in her life, which is in fact one of the central themes of the story.
Because you’re basically in Miri’s head all the time, witnessing all her experiences, thoughts and feelings this way, it’s easy to feel for her and even be glad when she finds out how intense lovemaking can actually be if you really connect with your partner.
But there’s still the problem to be solved that she’s being blackmailed …
Thrilling sensuality, suspense, atmosphere, emotional depth, humor (including puns like chapter title (!) “So Nice in Nice” or wordings like “breasts that stretched both the bikini and the imagination” :-)) and even adventure (complete with car chases and fighting scenes) add up to an intelligent, interesting, funny, heartfelt, and, of course, SEXY, reading pleasure.
Five stars!

Btw, I think that the author really gets to the heart of writing in her quote: "Characters are like children: they mostly do what you want them to, but they have a habit of ignoring you and finding their own way. Which is wonderful and turns a writer’s books into book babies."
Being a writer myself, I know that this is nothing but the truth - and even more so if you're an overprotective mother hen who has a hard time letting her children/chicks/books go ... ;-)

“Do they call you Caz?” I asked.
“Only when I let them.”
I pushed some hair behind my ear. “Do you think … you’ll let me?”

The Escort's Endgame is a solid debut novel, with some pleasant lighthearted humour.

“Oh, pfft!” He waved for added effect. “Simple. We served him some Lipton teabags. The fellow never darkened our doorstep again.”

The Lipton tea slander is too real. I really enjoyed that quippy humour that was entwined throughout, but the other kind of humour that was included was one that just wasn't for me. There were many sexual innuendos made and unfortunately they made me cringe more than laugh.

“Oh, the coffee?” she said, pretending she wasn’t flirting. “Naked as it comes.”
“Ah, always the best way. Although … it never hurts when there’s some cream.”

It's just not my cup of tea, but it could be someone else's (a cup of Lipton tea though, I'd argue, lol). Though I'll admit to cackling a little when one of Miri's sexual partners started talking about her "honeypot"...

She broke our kiss. “Stand up, Miri honey. Let me at your honeypot.”

😹😹😹 And it just kept going.

“Bedroom, you sexy little honeytrap. Now!”

(...)

Cara flicked the lock. “Honey time!” she said and urgently began to slide my jacket off.

The writing held a dense amount of inner monologue, however, once I realised that this was originially a trilogy of novellas, it made sense to add a bit more context for such short stories. But, when mushed together it reads a bit slow-paced. I'd probably argue that this worked better as a novella trilogy than as a full novel.

Especially since the first novella isn't quite relevant to the central plotline or ultimate love interest. As a full novel, it would have benefitted from a shorter, less meandering beginning, so that it would get to the point sooner. Every time we met a character or client of Miri's, I thought they'd become relevant, only for them to not really be relevant.

Also, the mystery is established with a mystery person sending threatening text messages but...I just found the texting ridiculous. The person would say things like "I know who U R" or would say "l8ter" if I remember correctly and it sort of takes away from the serious atmosphere that a mystery/thriller author would want to create. Texting in books is already something I'm not really fond of, but the abbreviations make it even more eye-roll worthy, unfortunately.

I sometimes enjoyed seeing Miri's different adventures and interactions with different clients, but I didn't love the sex scenes personally. They felt a bit awkward and the dialogue felt unnatural or like something a much older person would say. I mean, who calls it a honeypot?

But overall, it was an enjoyable debut novel and I'm sure this author's work will grow to be better and better.

Thank you Netgalley for an advanced reader's copy in exchange for an honest review!

This book takes the reader on a sexy trip to Paris and other European cities. While the story has an interesting plot and some engaging moments, this book just wasn't for me.

One of the first things that was not for me was the writing style. The excessively detailed writing and numerous references felt like distractions, pulling my attention from the main plot. The frequent use of exclamation points became quite annoying. Additionally, the book was written with a humorous tone that did not match my own taste. Furthermore, Miri, the protagonist, was speaking directly to the reader, which came across as a bit odd at times.

Regarding the characters, Miri's relationship with Caroline didn't feel real to me. It seemed to develop too quickly. On the other hand, Miri's encounters, particularly with other women, were written with passion, and I did enjoy most of those scenes. Miri's fierce character was a standout, showcasing her strength and determination.

The plot presented an unexpected twist towards the end, revealing the identity of the blackmailer. This revelation tied up the story nicely, and I appreciated the way it brought closure to Miri's journey, her endgame.

In conclusion, this book had its strengths and weaknesses. While I enjoyed Miri's fiery personality and the sexy encounters, the writing style, excessive details, and the humor which didn't match my taste left me unsatisfied. Nevertheless, the unexpected twist towards the end provided a satisfying resolution, and I'm glad Miri found her peace. While this book may not have been my cup of tea, it will appeal to readers seeking a hot, sexual adventure with a thrilling element in the plot.

I'm thankful to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ARC copy. This is my honest review.

I have mixed feelings about this story - I was swept along in certain parts and then would put the book down and sigh about reading it again. Overall, I enjoyed it enough that I might recommend it to those in the right mood for it.

Part 1 of the book has Miri mostly talking through aspects of being a high end escort, which was more interesting to me than the sex scenes. The hookup with the shop girl felt to me like any random woman at all would do, which is fine, but not my cup of tea. The flirtation on the flights were more sexy to me, since wit was present in those encounters. For the same reason, the encounters with Cara were more interesting as well. Plus by then, Miri had become well rounded of a character. I loved her time with Phillipe, but again, the sex scene in the casino left me cold. Don't get me wrong; sometimes a random hookup is what the body needs, but it isn't what this mind wants in a book. For similar reasons, her final romance was of extremely little interest to me, since Miri seemed to turn off her brain at that point. That being said, the pool sex scene was pretty hot. The third part got me really turning the pages mostly to find out who Miri's blackmailer was and how she and her gay best friend Robbie were going to deal with the troublemaker.

If you enjoy erotica that is dominated (pun intended) by sex with strangers, this very well may be the book for you. Otherwise, it was a very light read with some interesting aspects to it.

This novel follows Miranda "Miri" Stewart's adventures as a high-class escort. She is living her best life flying all around the world while she is working as a stewardess for a private flying company. On the flip side, she gets to meet clients as an escort in all of the new places that she travels. We learn that "Miri" comes from a privileged background but is living a double life to hide her identity. Miri starts to get messages that threaten to bring her double life to an end and she must figure out who this person is before her time is up. In the meantime, Miri meets a few people that will alter her life forever. Will she be able to figure out who is blackmailing her?

This was a hard one for me to get through, honestly. A lot of the story was a lot of fluff that I could have done without. I found myself losing interest while I was reading the story. However, the spicy scenes were great and brought me back into the fold. Towards the end of the story, I was more invested because I really wanted to know who was blackmailing her. I also was not really into the last romance of the story. It felt very rushed and I just wasn't impressed. If you enjoy spicy scenes with an okay plot, then this is for you!

The Escort’s Endgame is an all-in-one collection of the books that make up The Seductive Escort Series.

#1: The Paris Hook-Up
#2: The Monte Carlo Hook-Up
#3: The Rome Hook-Up

Starting in book 1 you learn about Miri the flight attendant who has a secret side job as Elise, the exclusive escort. This book is also where she finds out someone knows her deepest secret and is tormenting her via random text messages. Throughout the series you get a first-round view through Miri/Elise’s bisexual dual life (scenes with each are spicy and very descriptive) while she balances business and pleasure, You also watch as she handles her new reality, that her past that she tried so hard to keep hidden is quickly becoming part of her present. Book 3 does conclude with answers to many of the questions throughout the series so you are not left with a cliffhanger.

Great short stories with mystery and spice that can be read individually or (especially in this book) all at once.
