Princess Lia and Allen go to Lia's homeland to meet Lia's father. The citizens and king treat Allen terribly because they are under a mistaken assumption. Allen defeats his opponents and finds that Lia's attendant is a woman. How does he discover this you ask? Allen couldn't sleep so he wanted permission to swing his sword in the garden. There he walks in on her stepping out of a shower. The citizens rectify their low opinions of Allen as they watch him defeat their knights. Finally, Allen and Lia go on a date. They have a fulfilling time, and the volume ends.
The author lays down some tantalizing material for thought experiments and future plotlines. For example, we met Lia's father, but none of Allen's friends have met his family. Will we finally get to find out what is sealed within Allen?
I enjoyed the book. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.
