McGee's book is a great tool to use if you're in need of conversational jumping off points. For me, however, it failed to hold my attention as anything else. I enjoyed the short cases that I read but not the book as a whole. I felt that McGee used the text too often as a soapbox and that was consistently beaten with his thoughts on the subject. Ironically that's what helped fuel my discussions with others though, our joint disagreements with Mr. McGee.
