I am an author and live in the north east of England. After working thirty-two years as a steelworker, I retired early to concentrate on writing. I have been writing approximately eighteen years and have written and published thirty-four novels and over fifty short stories. My main genre is psychological thrillers and horror, but I have published a biography of a late friend and a war novel concerning the Holocaust. My impatience with the mainstream publishers and my former publishers folding prompted me to self publish. i have rewritten and republished my books with KDP in 2022 and 2023. When purchasing, I would advise the latter editions. I appreciate all feedback. Thank you.
This book is an exceptional novel! Anthony Hulse has obviously done his research and it shows. I couldn't put this book down. It shows how decades after the murder of six million Jews at the hands of the evil Nazi regime, feelings amongst those who survived still ran high. And many of them wanted revenge. The book takes you to several countries as one man seeks out his revenge on the man who was responsible for the death of his entire family. Very well written with a sudden and unexpected twist towards the end. Highly recommended!
This is the first book I've read by Anthony Hulse; it was excellent. Set in the 40s, the main character sets out to get revenge on the murderer of his parents and twin brothers. Though he's shrewd and clever, he's bitten off a little more than he can chew. The story moves quickly and is very well written; also carefully researched; it takes us to Cairo, Paraguay, the Alps and England; and I also like the characters, who all seemed unique, interesting, and well-developed. Good novel!
Anthony Hulse Devils Deceit Set in the 40s after the war this.book highlights the plight of Jews. This is a difficult story to tell but this author tells it well. It is very descriptive all the way through and you love this book from start to finish. 5* 6th March 2018.
