About the author

Morteza Motahhari (Persian: مرتضی مطهری) was an Iranian Twelver Shia scholar, philosopher, and lecturer. Motahhari is considered to have an important influence on the ideologies of the Islamic Republic, among others. He was a co-founder of Hosseiniye Ershad and the Combatant Clergy Association (Jāme'e-ye Rowhāniyat-e Mobārez). He was a disciple of Ruhollah Khomeini during the Shah's reign and formed the Council of the Islamic Revolution at Khomeini's request. He was chairman of the council at the time of his assassination.

محاضرة رائعة قياساً بما يلقى من محاضرات في هذه الأيام.. على الرغم من تطور العلوم في شتى المجالات إلا أننا لا زلنا نفتقد لمثل هذا الشهيد الفذ في محاضراته وأطروحاته

الكتاب جيد عموما . لكن كنت أنتظر من مطهرى تحليل أفضل و رؤية أعمق من هذه و استفاضة أكثر لكن ربما لضيق الوقت حيث كانت المحاضرة ليلة عاشوراء الحافلة بالأحداث و متزاحمة الترتيبات .

و من المطالعة السريعة كتاب شريعتى (الشهادة) أفضل منه .

مكانة الشهيد في الحضارة الاسلامية وقيمته السامية في الفرد والمجتمع ، وذكر سيدالشهداء مثالاً يُحتذى به سلام الله عليه .
