Book 4 - Too Strong ✓ Rich boy/Poor girl ✓ OTT J/P MMC ✓ Insta attraction ✓ Confident, quirky FMC ✓ Small town ✓ Standalone in a series - no cliffhanger! CONOR I kissed her. She slapped me... and then told me to ask her to dinner, only to cancel the date ten minutes later. After watching my older brothers fall in love, I knew it was a matter of time before I’d be the one mindlessly losing my head over a girl, but I didn’t expect it to happen so fast. I was supposed to buy a house, get a job, and spend the next few years enjoying my youth before submitting to one woman for the rest of my life. Fate had different plans, though, sending me on a mission to pursue a girl who doesn’t want to be pursued. Too bad that fate and the past get in our way... Just when I think I’m winning, a well-kept Hayes family secret turns our lives upside down. VIVIENNE I told him to ask me out. And then I found out he’s a Hayes. Entitled, rich, spoilt. I’ve steered clear of rich boys like him all my life. It’s not that difficult, really. Once they realize I live at a trailer park, work two jobs, and drive a battered old car, they disappear faster than they appeared. But not Conor. He’s relentless in his pursuit, a bit awkward, too, with how he plays hot and cold, but the more I get to know him, the more I realize not all rich boys fit in the same bag. I cave, falling for him hard and fast... And then I crash when old truths come knocking on our door, tearing us apart.
I. A. Dice writes emotionally intense romance—both dark and light—but always equally spicy. When she’s not dreaming up love stories, she’s probably drinking too much coffee and swooning over fictional men.
When I tell you I could not put this book down! Definitely my favorite book in the series so far. But honestly these books just keep getting better! Every time I think there’s no topping this Hayes brother I.A. Dice releases another book 🤣
Connor is so sweet, caring and incredibly understanding. Very possessive and protective just like the rest of his brothers. I loved that he really took the time and care to understand how Vee’s brain works with ADHD. My husband has ADHD and this representation really warmed my heart. I absolutely LOVED how persistent and sure he was throughout the whole book. Also that kinky side?? I was not expecting it but I definitely loved it!
Vee is such a fun and strong character. Doing anything for her family, even putting her wants and needs over her own. I love that relationship dynamic between a person who’s always taken care of themselves and a person who wants nothing more than to give their partner any and everything. I liked watching Vee push past her own personal bias and dive into a relationship with Connor and put herself first for once.
Other things I loved about this book. How close the brothers are so we get to see their stories still progressing! It really makes for an immersive experience into this world. Also that plot twist?? When it first happened I slammed my kindle shut 🤣 Plus that minor cliff hanger at the end! Don’t worry, Vee and Connor’s story is wrapped up! This is for something different. I don’t know how I’m going to hold out until August to get Cody’s story!
Conor is quite literally my dream man. Dominating? ✔️ A hint of possessiveness? ✔️ Respectful? ✔️ Obsessive? ✔️ Funny? ✔️ This man has so much respect for his girl that he doesn't push her to join the rich world even though she lives in a trailer park. Respected her enough to drop her off a little away from home so her dad wouldnt see him, but still walked her as close as he could and keeping an eye on her until he knew she was safe. He left her alone when he didn't want to because he knew she needed space and then helped her through everything when she found her way back. There was nothing dramatic that happened in their relationship (and besides the "oh you're rich therefore you're too good for me" bs) it was so calming and I just could not put this book down. Every time I read a book from this series, I think "there's no possible way that I could love a Hayes brother more than the last". And Conor's book followed Nico's 😭😭 Creating a book that could rival Nico's is a feat on it's own, and Dice did not disappoint. I can't wait for the next.
Conor meets Vivienne and *boom* that was all it took for him to fall for her. He was not the only one who fell, besides me, Vivienne felt something there too. But after having a bad experience with an ex, she is hesitant about dating someone like Conor because he is richer.
I swear these two were everything everything. Conor put in the work to try and understand Vee & her ADHD. He was protective of her and gosh he fell so hard. Vee needed more time but I completely understood that.
𝑯𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒘𝒏𝒔 𝒎𝒆.
Honestly I.A. Dice never fails to hook me in and keep me hooked on the story. The combination of romance, genuine interest in everything that is Vee and the steam made this an unputdownable book. Although low on angst, I did not see THAT plottwist coming.
The Hayes brothers never fail to amaze me. They are different and yet their heart and love for their ladies is big. And I eat it up every single time. I love how we still get to read about them in every new entry of this series and see how their family grows.
The ending has a tiny cliffhanger for the next book. But it does not leave Conor and Vee without their happy ending. If I could get another book just to read about these two being happy together, I would read it at once.

ᴘʀᴇ-ᴇᴅɪᴛ Full Review To Come!
This book gave me all the feels. Conor is like no other. He put Vee first always.
This whole series I have admired the Hayes parents relationship only to find out their hoe of a dad cheated on their Mom. Not only that, but a mfckn child came out of tht affair and no one checked on my girl to see if she was okay?? And she just accepted it and stayed with him?? I’m extremely disappointed, I feel like the author ran out of plot twist ideas and didn’t want a third act breakup so they chose to ruin these characters instead.
So mad. Need to stop reading books by this author because this one was almost as bad as Logan’s book, the only reason I kept reading because Nico’s book saved the series after that monstrosity of a sequel. In the end, Vee’s family got money from Adulterer Hayes and they were happy, Adulterer Hayes finally got the daughter he always wanted with a woman who is not his wife, literally everyone was happy. But no mention on how the Mom was handling all of this like ugh im pissed yall don’t even understandddd!!!
It’s also the fact that this woman he had an affair with is now going to be part of their everyday lives and everyone is just okay with it? Like why am I more mad than they are??
That plot twist was unnecessary, out of pocket, and unrealistic bc there is no way all seven of the brothers would’ve been okay with a random sibling coming into their lives that resulted from an affair of their Dads.
ANYWAYS, I hope their Mom finds a hot ass MAN to revenge fuck. She deserves it after being with a cheating scumbag 💋💋

Honestly my least favorite in the series. The FMC was so annoying in the beginning with how judgmental she was. I honestly hated the family storyline towards the end.

I thought the 3 oldest Hayes brothers were HOT,, cute and loveable…. Well Conor had learned a lot from the thee of them.
Conor is amazing, persistent and hot ofcourse.
This book is an amazing story. Poor girl and rich boy. The only reason i could put this book down is because i was on holiday… but i had put it down with pain in my heart.
This book is fun, a bit dorky with Vee her mind thoughts, emotional and sexy.
The connection between Connor en Vee is too strong to resist.
I.a.dice writes amazing and i think nobody would guess this. You really get to know the characters. All her characters are unique.
1.5🌟 I paid 17 euros for this book because booktok promised me a main character with adhd, a protective mmc boyfriend who helps her through panick attacks and a mcc partner who trusts his fmc partner so much he doesn't believe her when she lies and tells him she cheated. And I got all that... but I also got a lot of red flags and icks I didn't expect and didn't want to read about.
Let's start with the adhd representation. I have mixed feelings about this. As a reader girly with diagnosed adhd I was extremely excited to finally read about a mc with adhd in a loving relationship, because I've NEVER seen a book about a mc with adhd (except for my book boyfriend Alex Claremont-Diaz, but the author of rwrb only clarified that Alex has undiagnosed adhd after writing the book)
✅️I could really relate to the way Vee said her mind and thoughts worked.
❎️But every time Vee was overthinking, she blamed her meds and said they weren't dosed properly. Now I like that she mentioned that the meds don't cure adhd but only help manage adhd, but she still acted like they were a wonderful solution, now this might be personal but as far as I know everyone that takes adhd medication experiences negative side effects. Of course, meds have different effects on different people, and differences in doses and brands also make a difference, but as far as I know adhd meds aren't as magical as Vee claims they are.
❎️I hated that she blamed, forgetting that she couldn't have the same mother as the triplets because she's only two months younger them them on taking the wrong dose of adhd meds or on her adhd Having adhd doesn't make you confused or stupid, and this isn't exactly a minor detail, I get that she forgot it for dramatic purposes, so the whole "Are we related? plot" could exist (which I hated too but we'll get there), but it didn't feel fair to blame this on her adhd. If it was important that she forgot such an important fact at the very least Blane it on her being overwhelmed, upset, and sleep deprived. ✅️I love the way he helps her with her adhd, how he takes the time to understand her mind, how he makes sure he gets verbal and explicit consent because he knows she zones out sometimes ✅️i like that the over explaining yourself and constantly apologizing and overthinking were a part of her adhd symptoms because that felt very realistic, and I like how he reassured her ❎️Page 330: Can't believe he called her adhd mind "fragille", he's been so supportive of her adhd but what the hell was that? I know he was being sweet, but as an adhd girly, that pissed me off. ❓️I don't think the way she talks to herself is a universal adhd experience. I really like the way he supported her through it all and was so understanding and sweet and normal about it. And I've certainly talked to myself before but not around other people without noticing like vee does. I know adhd looks different on everyone, but I doubt anyone with adhd talks to them selves thst often around other people without noticing. But then again, I understand the idea of being so overwhelmed you zone out, and the way Vee explained it it made sense. And I like that he never made her feel weird because of it. So, although it's not relatable to me, I won't write it off as inaccurate representation, but I still have my doubts. ✅️I thought that the whole "ambulance thought" thing was so beautiful, and I liked the metaphors they used for her raving thoughts because they felt accurate. ❎️" So you know about the adhd too, huh?"🚩 The whole point of the book is that he's not embarrassed about her adhd so what the hell was that?
Okay, now let's talk about other things, then the adhd representation.
✅️I read this book in a single day because I was super invested, and I (mostly) liked the adhd representation, and I loved how overprotective the brothers were over each other, and I liked the overprotective boyfriend. So I certainly liked some things but there were also a lot of red flags.
Let's talk smut When I read the dedication, I was afraid this book wasn't for me because I'm not comfortable with choking sex/breath play at all.✅️ After reading all the smut scenes I'm still not in to it but everything was done consensual and with trust so It didn't bother me or make me uncomfy at all and I thought the smut scenes were actually enjoyable this time when they usually make me uncomfortable or cringe but these were pretty well written. ❎️I don't like the fact that he called her 🚩"helpless" 🚩during sex even though she was into it because she thought the same thing. That was uncomfortable. The sex is too kinky for my liking, even if it's not making me uncomfortable. It's still too much bdsm/kink for my liking. ✅️Everything was consensual and sweet. ❎️🚩But on page 237, there was somnophilia and she was into it, but it hadn't been discussed as something she was in to prior to it, which feels like a consent issue. You can't just expect that someone will be in to wake up by getting head they didn't ask for.
Now let's talk about the plot and plottwist
I figured out they were referring to Rose immediately because I knew a book with such glowing reviews wouldn't have the plottwist being that the mc's relationship was incest. There was also some foreshadowing in the book to them having a little sister starting with Rose and Conner's interaction at the Halloween party.
❎️Even though there was no incest I still hate this plot because the whole "Are we related or not?" Thing felt like a gross stupid way to insert angst into the story.
🚩Page 323: "I don't think I'd give her up even if I found out we were related." 🚩Excuse the fuck out of you? He'll no I can let a lot slide but incest?? Ew what the hell. I know it's not incest but these thoughts aren't normal. Why wasn't any of this shit in the tw's? Incest talk is a hard pass for me. I know theyre not related, these thoughts are disgusting. Officially lowered my rating to 2 stars. ✅️I liked the way the brothers protected eachother and their mother. ❎️But we never even got to know her name, so te fact that the mom got cheated on being the big plot was a bit weird when she wasn't in the rest of the book.
I wrote a detailed live review, so in case you need specific details:
❎️I'm on page 5 and rolled my eyes so hard I almost got a headache. Off to a great start. I hope it gets better because I paid 17 euros for this book because it sounded so good, and I'm so excited to read about a female mc with adhd
🚩Page 16: He kisses her without her consent after she throws beer in his face, and then she slaps him in the face and asks him out to diner... yikes, not my kind of book. There were also like 4 pages about how they invited the guy who I think assaulted nico's gf to their Halloween party. But I'm not sure because I didn't read the other books and was told I could read them as stand-alonene
🚩Page 27: Seriously? He has a bloody nose (her fault, but not on purpose) and kisses her WITHOUT HER CONSENT! AGAIN! After she tells him she cancelling their date because he's not her type. I know she's lying, but he doesn't. In what world is "you're not my type" the same as "please, kiss me". What happened to asking if you can kiss someone instead of smashing your face on to hers? I hate everything non co, ugh, not cute
🚩Page 41: not in to the fact that she immediately wants to jump his bones when he kissed her without her permission twice after she said she didn't want to go on a date with him. Kissing without consent is not sexy even if you like the kissing he should have asked.
🚩Page 60: Ew, oh God, there is literally nothing I hate more than smoking. so gross that this book romanticized it. This would be enough for me to dnf eith the other things that happened, but I'm actually invested since page 52
✅️Page 52: I love that he was offended that she assumed he'd judge her/look down on her for being poor. It didn't even occur to him
✅️Page 58: I love that he finds it "fucking fascinating" that she talks to herself. The little adhd girly in me is healing.
❎️Page 61: "it wasn't long till I painted the tiles with my cum" ew look I'm not against a good romance novel with smut. I love me a good smutty romance novel but not like this. This just grosses me out.
✅️Page 63-page 155 I stopped complaining and read this all In one go and I'm so glad I didn't dnf because I read for Two hours without stopping (my adhd ass was invested) and didn't regret it at all when it was suddenly 11 pm.
Page 83: He doesn't want to kiss her because she's drunk, and I really like that he takes consent seriously now. He does so for the rest of the book, so I'm glad I was wrong when the beginning made me assume he didn't take consent seriously. He takes her consent seriously in the bedroom, and he doesn't kiss her when she's too drunk to consent to it. So he's luckily not a red flag after all?
✅️Page 215: Me: I don't like this book Also, I stay up to read till 01:30 am and read 215 pages in two sittings in one evening. I think it's safe to say I'm hooked now.
🚩I didn't like the throw-away comment where the author used the word "wife beater" instead of tank top buy other hanen that I have no other complaints.
✅️I actually really like the brothers relationships with eachother and eachother's girlfriend's, even though I'm not an alpha male type of reader at all and all the man are like this in this book, they're Still kind and sweet enough for me to like.
✅️I'm a sucker for the protective brother and protective partner trope, so I really really love that.
The brothers are a little too possesive for my liking but it Says "over the top possesive mc" on the back of the book so that was to be expected and even though it's not usually my thing the mc is sweet and gentle and respectful enough for me not to care. Especially because he cares her about her consent, her adhd, her comfort, was really sweet and supportive when she had a panic attack and constantly reminds her that he doesn't mind that she's poor.
🚩I was excited to read the other books in this series, but reading a bunch of reviews proved that the other books will certainly not be for me (so Many red flags I wouldn't be able to look past) but I'm still super invested in this one. (Seriously, the drinking game incident in book 1 sounds so homophobic)
Page 265: I read 215-265 in one go as soon as I woke up, and I'm invested, but why is he thinking about getting her pregnant a few weeks into dating her? Yikes
🚩Page 323: "I don't think I'd give her up even if I found out we were related" excuse the fuck out of you? He'll no I can let a lot slide but incest?? Ew what the hell. I know it's not incest but these thoughts aren't normal. Why wasn't any of this shit in the tw's? Incest talk is a hard pass for me. I know they're not related. But these thoughts are disgusting. Officially lowering my rating from three.
✅️I love the way he helps her with her adhd and that he trusts her enough to know she's lying when she said she cheated which was why i originally bought the book and I was going to give it 3 stars, maybe even 4 🚩before the whole weird ass "are we related?" plot.
🚩But no matter how much I loved the adhd representation and the trust the are we related plot, too much kinky possessiveness shit, the smoking, the whole weird ass mia/nico possesive toxic relationship and his comment at the end (about Rose being too young to date? But his gf being 19 and him being 10 years older is okay?)🚩.
🚩All the swearing, the kissing without consent at the beginning, and then this? Hell, no two stars no matter how much i enjoyed some parts. I can't ignore these red flags, lowering my rating to two stars
✅️I read the second half of the book from 11:30-14:30 while my adhd ass only took a break to grab coffee and lunch, so even though my review is negative, I'll admit I was invested

Lame. The Hs feelings were way too insta for me. He says he loved her the very first day her met her. 🙄 He didn’t even know her yet! They barely talked. I’m not into books where the dude is a simp and the h keeps pushing him away. She calls him a hoverfly for most of the first half, not hot when the h refers to the H as an annoying insect.
There are some cute scenes but the chemistry just wasn’t built right in this one so even those cute swoony scenes weren’t very impactful. The book and the relationship are forgettable.
There’s no angst and no real drama in this one especially when you compare it to the others. It’s very safe, very easy, very sanitized.
The family drama in the end was ridiculous and so freaking soap opera-y. Not even good soap opera drama but like 90s Passions type drama. It wasn’t even handled well, just a big old annoying plot device.
This series only gets better I swear. From the first brother we meet Theo to one of the Triplets, Conor here I have only fallen more for these men. This story fits right into the series flawlessly, no confusing timeline. Let me tell you I was not ready for all these plot twists but man did they not make me blush! From meeting the character (Conor and Vee) to their story and struggles to overcome true relationship situations to the plot twist, to the Happily Ever After (so we hope) to an absolute cliff hanger to lead right into the next brothers story. I loved this book. I love I. A. Dice, she is certainly 1 of my top 5 favorite Smut authors. 😍
Un truc complètement fou surgit d’un coup (genre vraiment ???) et pourtant, l’histoire continue comme si de rien n’était. Le potentiel était là, mais bon… au moins le rich boy / poor girl fait toujours son effet. 3/5.
Mostly just threw me off about how the FMC was too confusing at the first few chapters. I thought it would be funny because she slapped him after liking the kiss and then told him to ask her out but that wasn’t even remotely close to being funny or cute.
Two consecutive chapters wherein MMC threatens to resort to violence over the FMC with repeated words. And I’m really just over the narrative of having a MC that mumbles their thoughts out loud all the time and the MMC responding to it as if it was supposed to be, again, cute when it wasn’t.
Hahahahah WHAT DID I READ? I liked the writing and the story started out interesting but it’s definitely not real life and just what?? I almost had to stop reading when the news came out because I wasn’t sure how they were going to spin that…
Another great novel from I.A. Dice, she really does weave the most lovely feel good smut. Connor’s instalment didn’t disappoint at all and whilst there’s a few things I would’ve changed it was still very enjoyable.
For example there was a bit of a miscommunication trope in there which I’m not normally a bit fan of and really I don’t think we got to know Connor as well as I’d like. What are his ambitions where is his life going? It’s very much just about his feelings towards Vee and I think we lose sight of who he is a little.
That didn’t make it unenjoyable though. The push and pull between the too was great and the burn was a bit slower than the previous ones in this series which was a cool change of pace. The spice was really good as always. But the underlying drama and intensity in the story wasn’t as good as the previous ones.
I’d still definitely recommend this book to contemporary romance readers.
I’m absolutely obsessed with these Hayes brothers. It took me all of one sitting to devour this book. Conor is the dream guy that all girls dream of. He is patient, sweet, generous and very SEXY. This book had a huge plot twist that had me squirming. I cannot wait for the next book and next brother’s story. Also, of course we left it on two cliffhangers!! I will be anxiously waiting for the next book to get the answers I need!
I just finished reading this book and it was great! I absolutely love Conor Hayes. He is such a sweet heart ❤️ He is like the guy every girl wants to find. I really enjoyed the push pull and the sexy tension build up. That's always great! I would give this book 🌶🌶🌶🌶🥵I could really relate to Vivienne. It's really hard to open up and trust once it's been used. I don't want to give away any spoilers but everything is not always what it seems.
This one is the best story out of the whole series! I loved it!
And that cliffhanger oh boy! i know who that person is! I saw that coming even before reading Cody's book (that still hasn't been published And to be honest i don't feel that good about it. But let's hope that she got better reasons for all the things she did.
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 okay it was good, but it just seemed like not much happened. i read it quick, but there wasn't a whole lot of plot and the drama was just overcome too quickly. and i wish there were more family scenes. it was still cute tho. i cant wait for the next book, which is released on my bday!!
I am absolutely in love with Connor Hayes. He was so perfect and he’s definitely up there with Nico. My god, this book was perfection. And the plot twists??? I never saw them coming ngl. Amazing
Uppskattade att det vanliga säga något taskigt för att skrämma bort den man älskar mest av allt för att man tror att man gör dem en tjänst-konceptet föll platt då han genomskådade den lögnen med en gång.
