His mom dies from cancer a year later after his dad, his brothers are charged with life sentences for the murder of their dad’s killer six years later, and just seven years after his baby mama is murdered. Then, His only son taken into foster care. With two strikes already against him, can Mike Mike survive the trial and tribulations that he is going through as he hunts down his baby mama’s killers or does the grief consume him and cause him to be in unbearable pain until he breaks?

The Code Keepers
Mike Mike pain was so real. The level of trauma he experienced was typical of the life he was all about. This was a well written story with some twists and turns. But it captured and kept my attention from the start. My first read from this author but definitely not my last. I was glad that Mike Mike and Dena got together with the boys in the end. But I'm waiting on the next book in the series. This was so good.

Wow! Everyone is going their own way. It’s bittersweet! However people gotta do what’s best for them. I’m so glad Mike Mike made peace and accepted the love that has been in his face from Dena! Now I’m wondering what’s up with big Rob! Onto the final installment!
