Good primary sources

Too often secondary histories don’t take into account the full meaning primary sources have to offer. This book brings history to the reader.

Interesting read, but I do think my familiarity with the topic did make me a touch uncomfortable with reading it under a non-partisan context (History class).

did i need to read this to learn how Christians became involved in propelling the conservative mobilization during the social revolutions of the 60s and 70s? yes. is this objectively a good source of primary documents? yes. am i still giving it two stars based on how reading every document just pissed me off, disregarding aforementioned objectivity? YES. 😂 the ONLY document i enjoyed reading was the pornographers eulogy. that shit was so enemies to lovers coded bye

Great book I read a few years ago that I read again this semester and it goes into evangelical dominance in politics. I would use this when talking about religion in politics if that ever came up.
