I’m speechless with how well written this book is and unsure if my review will do it justice but here we are. My initial hope was to glean more insight on the American education system and to understand American rights as a Christian. Even if you’re not big into politics or government, which is the key theme, I think this book will provide a well-rounded Christian perspective on a multitude of topics in correlation to the government’s involvement. I’m so impressed with how the author tied all the topics together and managed to cross-examine history and other countries in comparison to current America. As the start of this review says, I’m basically speechless. I’ve definitely learned more than my initial hope which is why I highly recommend this book! It has so much information you wouldn’t be able to read it without getting something from it!
Really enjoyed this book. Not only because of her faith and convictions but also in her explanations of how things have progressed in certain areas of society. She was able to trace them to legal decisions that started to open doors to other more progressive ideology. She covers topics like tyranny, CRT, same sex marriages, etc and how as Christians we can and should hold true to the convictions we have based on the teachings of Christ. Highly recommend this book to get a good lay of the land in the topics she discusses.
An excellent read from a lawyer and teacher. She has very well-developed thoughts based on her extensive research, plus her stellar career. I learned some new things that literally had my jaw dropping open. She also affirmed other things about the Constitution that I already knew, yet want to be more passionate about now. After reading this book, I feel more equipped to engage with the culture and not back down when evil forces push against me.
I enjoyed reading this book. I found it to be well researched and well written. It is encouraging as far as inspiring one to live an authentic life as a Christian knowing that our rights in this country protect us. Don't fear, trust in God and when necessary fall back on the laws of this country and the Constitution.
