Okay, so it is VERY markedly Chinese - we have the classic tropes and signature romance style. But what I really liked was that the decisions they make and their emotions made sense. They focus on growing as people and changing for the better to maintain their relationship. Love to see it🥹

I haven’t watched the drama yet, i feel like it would probably be different from the book a good bit.
Unfortunately did not read this in Mandarin. Found a really high-quality English translation.

Trụy lạc (Rơi xuống) đã được chuyển thể thành phim Mùa hè nồng nhiệt đang chiếu. Xem 2 tập đầu thấy diễn viên hơi đơ, chuyển sang đọc truyện thì thấy phim cải biên rất nhiều. Cũng đúng, nếu giữ nguyên tình huống trong truyện thì bi kịch và tăm tối quá, khéo không qua nổi vòng kiểm duyệt :V

Nội dung truyện khá cũ, diễn tiến cũng khá dễ đoán. Được cái là xây dựng và diễn giải tâm lý nhân vật khá tốt.
