Brother Roger, who started this community 60 years before this volume's publication, speaks of the faith that has always guided and encouraged him and the community as it has developed over the years. He includes a brief history of Taize and covers Pope John Paul II's speech on his visit to Taize in 1986. The book is like a personal letter to the reader; it seeks to offer words to encourage, challenge and lead each of us.
