This is the story of the various intelligence organizations in the United States, their history adn how they are utilized today.
This is a well written and colorful book that informs younger readers about the importance getting solid intelligence and the organizations that collect this information. Sidebars titled "A Firsthand Look" are found scattered through the book, highlighting 'The Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004' and 'The President's daily brief. other sidebars are titled 'Yesterday's headlines' and 'Spotlight on' about important people in the history of espionage and intelligence gathering. The full color illustrations are appropriately placed with the text.
