I am a library teacher and read this to kids in the 3/4 grades (8,9 & 10 year olds). They absolutely loved this story, and I would always hear a disappointed groan when I had to stop reading! The characters are very relatable for kids, and they found the theme of ghosts pretty exciting, lapping up the suspense and predicting the next turn of the story.

From the Chomps series, (these are obvious...they have a chunk bitten out of the top, (very cool feature), this msytery features ghosts that live in an abandoned children's home,and a new boy in town that has been dared to go in there at night. Some humor, some suspense.
