Some may be put off by the cover art but Twilight Healer is a sleeper hit for anyone looking for a break from reality. As you read through the pages you will be swept away into a world of horror and redemption as you follow the main character, Leslie as she makes the transition from life as a mildly retarded, hospital worker to her existence as a vampire. Ms. Custer has delivered a novel which far surpasses the clichéd horror movies that are often found in theaters today.

1. What did you like best about this book?
I am not really into Sci-Fi, but I did like that Ms. Custer added in a human element, which made it relatable. I ended up rooting for Leslie! I also liked that it read like a movie.

2. What did you dislike about this book?
Although the story was an overall good read, I did find it to be a bit lengthy.

3. How can the author improve this book?
I would make the book a little shorter and add in even more of a human element to pull in more readers who aren’t necessarily Science Fiction readers.
