'Britain seen through a gun-sight,' said the Literary Review.

He's underground, under fire and under pressure.

For several years he has been lying low, buried in the urban decay of south-east London, waiting to be called. Now his enemies have smoked him out, and he has to act - fast.

Moving through the harsh realities of 1990s Britain, the unnamed narrator of this tense and remorseless thriller is driven by a dark and secret purpose. Why is he here? What has he come here to do?

He says he'll stop at nothing to achieve his aims. And he means it.
