I found this book to be a scathing critique of societal structures that have perpetuated the oppression of women. The author's exploration of the witch hunt phenomenon was both a historical reckoning and a commentary on contemporary issues, highlighting how women who refuse to conform to patriarchal norms (single women, childfree women, elderly women) continue to be marginalized and victimized. A haunting reminder that the witch hunt may be over, but the patriarchy's war on women is far from won.

I appreciated that the book didn't resort to extremist feminist ideology, instead acknowledging the polarity and value that men also bring to society. Overall, a engaging and insightful read!
