Hot and steamy romance

Grace

My wedding day was supposed to be the happiest day of my life, but when the groom isn’t as faithful as you’d like, there is only one thing to do . . .
Leave his sorry ass at the altar, move halfway around the world, and start over.
A new apartment, a new me, and when I land my perfect job, it comes with the man of my dreams. The only downside is he works for my new employers, and, not knowing how they feel about relationships at work, I ghost him. I regret it every day, but I know deep down it was the right thing to do.
My first day working as the Marketing Director for the world-renowned theme park moguls Blackmoore Enterprises was going really well until I came face-to-face with the man who has my heart.
But he is not the man I believed he was.
The man is an ogre. He’s a bully and likes the words “You’re fired” a little too much.
I need to decide. Do I go home with my tail between my legs, or do I stay, ignore him, and show him he’s not the boss of me?
Either way, I’m in for a hell of a ride on this roller coaster called life.

Billionaire businessman Braxton Blackmoore may be on the verge of turning 30, but he has no intention of settling down anytime soon. His focus is on his career, especially with his parents planning to retire within the next few years and turn control of the family businesses over to him and his three younger brothers. His parents, however, believe that Braxton needs to develop better people skills and get to know a different side of the company before taking over, so they send him into one of their theme parks disguised as a new entry level employee. He'll be learning from the ground up, literally: his job for the next month is to pick up trash.

Meanwhile, British marketing executive Grace Summers recently left her fiance at the altar after finding out that he cheated on her...for the fourth time. Unfortunately, he was also her boss, which means she needs to find a new job too. After applying for a position with Blackmoore Enterprises, she makes it through to the final round and is invited to company headquarters in New York City for a face-to-face interview. First, however, Grace is asked to visit the company's Chicago theme park and create a sample marketing plan based on her on-site evaluation of the property. She's searching for a restroom when she meets park employee "Bradley"; they hit it off but part ways after a whirlwind weekend together, never expecting to see each other again. It's quite a surprise when Grace starts her new job at Blackmoore headquarters a few weeks later and discovers that "Bradley" is actually Braxton, her new boss.

I couldn't help but laugh at Braxton's rude awakening when he arrived in Chicago and got a taste of how the other half lives. At the same time, I could tell how much he genuinely cared about his employees because he was so upset by everything he saw that was wrong and how determined he was to make things right. His efforts to get to the bottom of the parks' mismanagement and take a more active role in how they were run were absolutely my favorite part of the book.

Unfortunately, I wasn't as enthusiastic about the main characters or their romance. I didn't like how pushy Braxton was with Grace after they met up again in New York. It was totally reasonable for her to want to set boundaries, especially after her experiences with her ex, but he trampled all over them at every opportunity. It didn't help that Grace was so annoyingly wishy-washy. For example, she got mad at him (and rightfully so) for embarrassing her with his speech at his birthday party, but by the time they got home, she was practically swooning because of the way he "stood up" for her. Beyond that, the push-pull between them was a lot at times and honestly, I was stressed on their behalf. Bottom line, I had a tough time believing that Grace should be dating anyone given her recent breakup and the resulting trust issues. She needed therapy more than she needed a boyfriend.

Finally, there were some details about the plot and characters that bothered me as I read. Most importantly, was Braxton supposed to be American or British? I know his mother was British, but I thought he and his brothers grew up in New York. However, he says something about "switching colleges" (meaning high schools?) and changing his choice of university after the traumatic breakup with his first love, Charlene. In the U.S., college and university are the same thing, so did he go to school in the UK? It was also strange that he referred to his car's GPS (navigation system) as "satnav" but yet didn't understand that Grace meant "parking lot" when she said "car park." My guess is that the author is British and just didn't realize the differences in terminology, but it was confusing. Aside from that, how did Braxton manage to have drinks with Grace at the airport bar and go to the gate with her at the end of their first weekend in Chicago? He wouldn't have been able to get past security without being a ticketed passenger! Later in the story, they flew to Dallas on Braxton's private jet. While I admit it was kind of funny to think of him being forced to sit in coach, why did they fly commercial back to New York?

I went back and forth on my rating for this book, but I decided to round up to 4 stars because I enjoyed the story and wanted to keep reading. At no point did I consider DNF'ing, though I did yell at my Kindle a few times. I'd recommend it for fans of alpha heroes, who probably won't have as many issues with Braxton as I did. I plan to continue with the series.

Amazing - another hit, I would give it more 🌟 if I could

I loved the change in tempo for this book by Martina. I so enjoyed the Moral Compass series, but this book was a complete change of speed and angst. However, I loved the cameo appearance by East (adore that girl).

Brax, had been hurt in the past and was determined never to be pinned down by one woman, so he was the typical serial womaniser. Grace, had been let down numerous times before her wedding day, so she had major trust issues and wanted to stay in the background and just do a good job.

Brax's mum and dad, decided he needed to go incognito on a work assignment, which is how Grace met him. Their relationship was adorable, he wasn't the billionaire boss with a foul temper with Grace, so sparks flew when she found out who he was and some of the things she said had me in stitches (the hotel in Dallas had me laughing out loud)

I don't want to spoil this book for anyone, only to say it was beautifully written and I loved the main characters. Plus Brax has three other brothers waiting in the wings for their stories to be told, plus Grace has two sisters (no pressure Martina 😜 )

I can't recommend this book highly enough, so please do yourself a favour, download this one and sit back and enjoy.

I didn’t want to put this book down Martina has done it again giving us characters with real emotions and life challenges whilst the banter and humour is there to balance everything out. Whereas this book isn’t as heavy as her others it definitely doesn’t distract from the amazing story she has written, Martina’s words are so easy to read and I barely realise I am reading.

Braxton is the typical billionaire playboy until his parents make him go undercover at their family’s theme parks and what he discovers angers him to his core but what he didn’t expect to happen was to meet a beautiful British woman who would steal his heart and when we see him start to fall for her it’s beautiful.

Poor Gee has been put through the ringer after leaving her cheating fiancé at the alter she tried to start her life again reevaluating everything even moving to the US to get away from him.

I can’t wait for the rest of the series this is an amazing start and the rest of the brothers are all so different I can tell each book will grab me and not let me go - congratulations on another breathtaking book.

Im not sure where to begin with this review but know I loved this book. Braxton was hilarious a little rich boy who met his match with Grace. Grace refused to let him bulldoze her. Grace had hesitations about going forward with their relationship but how they got there was not easy. Grace had been in an awful relationship and well Braxton loved his women. This couple was chefs kiss and this book is a must-read. The banter and chemistry were just right and hooked me in. I loved their families and how this all came together. Im so ready for the next book.

If I could sum up this book in one word it would be wholesome. The banter between Braxton & Grace had me smiling from ear to ear. Martina has a way with words where I just wanted the story to keep going and never end as I was so invested in Braxton & Grace’s relationship.

Braxton starts out as a typical bachelor & you can’t help but love the fact he’s an a-hole. Grace literally steamrolls into his life & turns his life literally on its head. Everything he swore he wouldn’t become, wouldn’t do etc he finds himself doing just to get to know Grace. Even after all her trauma she isn’t afraid to call him out and her bravery is something to be proud of.

This book just had everything; love, laughter, a dash of miscommunication & a good mix of spice. The perfect formula for a book that had me hooked from the first word.

What a start to a new series :) & I look forward to reading more of the Blackmoore brothers :)

And she does it again. The perfect amount of care, love, miscommunication, spice and laughter.
I'll be honest at times I wanted to punch Braxton but I will say he tried to do the right thing and somehow for him it backfired. He's cheeky, lovable, bossy and deliciously dirty.
Now Grace, this girl has balls of steel. I adore her bravery and her need to be independent!
The chemistry between these two jumps of the page and smacks you right in the face. The family and the support network around these two is amazing. This is something that Martina does really well, she creates a world you want to be part of! Another great book and start to a new series, well done and congratulations!

Please check the TWs, just in case! This is the first book of a series. I had the pleasure of reading this book as an ARC! Here comes the bride… but what happens when she finds out the groom isn’t faithful, and of all days, on their wedding day? Grace decides to pack up and move halfway around the world to start again. Now she comes face to face with the man who has her heart, and now she’s in for a crazy rollercoaster ride of a life and decisions she has to make. This book really was just that, a rollercoaster. The twists and turns in this book, had me screaming, crying, laughing, smiling. My gosh, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time reading this! Enemies to lovers kind of vibes, with some spicy scenes. This book is detailed and absolutely phenomenal, I need the other books in the series already! So good!

Grace and Brax has a beautifully sweet first meeting! Their first date was the sweetest, the whole date was so simple and so effortless for them, I was a little worried about any drama coming their way.

But the spice, it was hotttt!! Wow! They are so obviously what the other needed and or didn’t know what to look for.

Once the initial mistaken identity trope was revealed, their whole reunion was on fire, in the personality department! However, once they got talking, it was a lovely moment of communication.

The whole personal and professional lines to be drawn and or blurred, but their chemistry was so hot, it didn’t last too long…!

I really loved the ending, it showed great character development for Brax and Grace in different way.

It definitely holds promise for the next instalment….!!

Thank you Martina Dale for an early copy.

Well, that was a rollercoaster

I’ve loved every single one of Martina’s books and this one is no exception. Every character comes to life in a way that makes you feel like you are at their side going through every emotion with them.

Brax and Gee are certainly a very different pairing, but they do say opposites attract. The way they meet is so sweet but then when she doesn’t return his calls you feel so sorry for him… but life has a way of bringing people together in ways we’d never expect, right?

Absolutely brilliant start to the series. Can’t wait to read the next book and find out more about Brax’s brother, Kane. Something tells me I’m going to like him.

What a fab start to this new series from Martina Dale!

The Ride is book one in The Blackmoore Brothers series and what a ride this book is!

Braxton is your typical wealthy bachelor, who is happy going from woman to woman, using them as much as they use him and not wanting to get married and settle down. His parents set him a challenge so he can focus on the business in a different light to what he does now, so he is sent undercover to get to know the workings of one of his theme parks.

What he doesn’t expect is to meet Gee(Grace), who is at the park doing her own homework as she is due for an interview at the company who owns it (Brixton’s company). They both get to know each other as Gee and Bradley (Braxton’s pseudonym) and their chemistry is off the charts.

Imagine their surprise when Grace turns up to work on her first day and her boss is none other than Bradley! What happens is that we see Braxton do things that even he never expected to do, he wants a proper relationship and even though Grace is reluctant they both can’t fight what they have.

We get so much humour in this book and we also see an FMC who isn’t afraid to speak her mind and this is a quality that the MMC is grateful of as he always has YES people around him unlike Grace who will tell him exactly what she thinks.

I am really looking forward to reading the rest of this series and getting to see more of the Blackmoore Brothers, and I have no doubt that they will be as entertaining as this one!

I thank Martina for giving me the opportunity to read this arc!

This is the first book in 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. Grace is supposed to get married, but her fiancé isn’t faithful, so she leaves him at the alter, and moves halfway across the world to get a fresh start.

Braxton’s family owns a world renowned theme park. Braxton’s parents want him to go undercover and work around the theme park to see what’s really going on. Grace is hired to be their marketing director.

Grace meets Braxton when he’s “undercover”, and their relationship made my heart happy. Braxton is your typical billionaire playboy, so seeing him fall from Grace was so sweet. I loved the tension, and banter between the two.

Braxton doesn’t do relationships, he works, he works out and he plays hard. Grace has just jilted her cheating husband-to-be at the alter and runs to a new job and life in New York. They meet in Chicago and have a brief passionate fling, they’re both left feeling like the other was special but Grace was only there for the weekend and neither of them knew who the other really was. Little did they know their paths would cross again very soon and they’d be working closely together!

I flew through this book, it was such an easy enjoyable read with laugh out loud moments, banter and sizzling scenes. I loved seeing self confessed bachelor for life, Braxton fall hard and lose his heart to Grace. Also how strong Grace was, picking herself up after letting go of her toxic relationship with her ex, gaining confidence and letting herself trust again. The Blackmoore family, the four brothers and their parents are great and hugely entertaining, I’m looking forward to reading more of this series.

Well Brax and Gee, their story is fantastic.
think undercover, boss, but filled with smexy stuff and a great twisty story. At first, Brax was a very cocky playboy. He made me laugh, and I couldnt wait to see him fall.. and fall he does. Gee is such a great female character, I really felt for her at the start of this book but she absolutely bossed it and I love the strength she showed and how strong she stayed all the way through the book. She didn't take any of Braxs crap and it was a joy to watch her put him in his place. This is a great 1st book in this series , all books will be interconnected and I can't wait to see more from all Blackmoore brothers!

The MMC was a complete man child dick.
The FMC was indecisive and sooky.
Loved the start, cute beginning but then the characters became insufferable. It wasn’t poorly written, I would like to read more of this author but I just loathed the characters.

The Ride
The Blackmoore Brothers, Book 1
By: Martina Dale
Narrated by: Allie Rose, Joe Arden

Martina Dale is a ‘new-to-me’ author and consider me impressed, not only by her wonderful writing style, but by the fabulous story she created, a story that grabbed my attention right from the start and held it the entire time. The well-developed characters are realistic and easy to relate to and connect with. “The Ride”, the first book of the “Blackmoore Brothers” series, and is Braxton’s and Grace’s story. Braxton is a workaholic looking to take over the family business when his parents retire. He is also a player, not having time or wanting a romantic relationship and is upfront with the woman he picks up, some who are only interested in his status as a billionaire. Braxton can be short with some of his employees, so his parents want him to take a starting position in one of the company’s theme parks and familiarize himself with the employees on running the park and the rides. Grace Summers left her fiancé at the altar after hearing he cheated on her, since she worked with him she also needed to find another job and applied for one in NYC. In an unusual twist, the company asks for her to visit one of their theme parks and come up with a marketing plan to present for her final, face-to-face interview. Her time in the Chicago theme park was enlightening, and she gathered enough information for her presentation. She also met someone, Bradley, one of the park’s employees, spent some time with him that lead to a steamy affair, one she could not go any further since she was leaving, despite their instant connection. Her interview goes well, sets a start date in three weeks so she can get things squared away back in the UK and settle into a new apartment in NY. Her first day at Blackmoore Enterprise is more than a learning experience, especially after she thinks she sees Bradley, but he is nothing like the Bradley she spent time with in Chicago. There is never a dull moment in this book and I loved all the layers of the story and how it all played out, with the perfect balance of drama, some angst, witty dialogue and humor, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Martina Dale, thanks for this fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Allie Rose and Joe Arden were fantastic at bringing the characters to life, humanizing them with voices that are fitting to deliver a perfect portrayal of each, while owning their roles. Joe Arden nailed it as Braxton, grasping every aspect of his personality from his arrogant, hot tempered bossy side to his caring and fun side as Bradley. Allie Rose was a natural in Grace’s role and was just as fabulous, showcasing Grace’s personality, including her fierceness, strength and determination. She has an impressive ability to switch accents and handling the back-and-forth banter, going from a British accent to an American accent seamlessly and with ease. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. These wonderfully talented voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

This was a fun easy listen.

When the serial player billionaire falls hard for his "just for the weekend" fling, while undercover as someone, else it's bound to be interesting when they inevitably cross paths again.

Grace is unfortunately caught up in Brax's bad mood that comes from his eye opening undercover experience but also is exacerbated by her ghosting his alter ego. Once he sees her though, all bets are off and he is in damage recovery mode. Having never been a relationship guy, he tries so hard to prove that they should be together (even when his siblings throw wrenches into the plans that cause him to have to work even harder).

I had some moments while reading that pulled me out. Brax is the child of an American father and a British mother and lives in New York. There were multiple times that his inner narrative (descriptions, observations, etc.) included more British language than American and I couldn't tell if that was because he was raised in England (talking about "College" before "University" which would be the British version of high school and then higher education) or because that's the author's British showing and not correcting the language to match where the character was. Also terms like "Car Park" instead of "parking lot" or "Holdall" which could have been in place of a duffle or backpack made for moments that didn't seem to match the character's reaction to Grace's use of British slang. They were minor, but it disrupted the flow for me.

The audiobook was performed by Allie Rose and Joe Arden. Allie had a very husky deepness to her voice that was new for me. I enjoyed her lightness and joy as Grace at times but also her well earned walls and sense of caution given her history. When she opened up, it felt earned and I liked that she gave Brax grief and made him work for her forgiveness. Joe's performance was fun, the way Brax evolved over the story was delightful to see. The playboy billionaire needing to earn his empire and see from the ground up that something was very very wrong. His falling for a girl and for the first time ever, wanting more, wanting to take his time and wanting to earn her trust and her heart. It was fun.

I requested and was provided with an advanced copy of the audiobook. These are my honest opinions.

**Audio Review**

This was my first Martina Dale book, and I really enjoyed it. Admittedly, I wasn't sure what to expect going into a romance novel set amongst a theme park, but she made it work! The storyline was giving "if Undercover Boss had a baby with a romcom, and add a dash of intrigue and a jerk of an ex-fiance".

Braxton was the definition of a broody billionaire, and he's made more upset by the decision that his parents make as he was coming up on his 30th birthday - he's to go undercover to one of the family's theme parks, to earn an appreciation for the company and the hardworking individuals that they employ. He is brash, abrasive, and rude on the outside, but he cares deeply for his family and his company. As we get to know him, it's easy to see that his heart is much softer than he likes to let on.

Grace is in need of a new start after she leaves her fiance at the alter, due to the fact that he cheated on her...again. She applies for a job at Blackmoore Enterprises, and when she arrives in New York to interview for the position, she runs into someone familiar.

I appreciated that Grace knew her value and wasn't going to let Braxton bully her. They ended up being a great match and balanced each other out well. The physical tension was palpable and the spicy scenes were thoroughly enjoyable.

I was able to listen to part of this being recorded live, and I knew immediately that Allie and Joe were going to be a great pair. Some of my favorite performances from Joe have been the ones where he has played an alphahole - something about his timbre and vocal quality just works well with those characters, and Braxton was no exception. Allie has such a unique voice and I appreciate that about her - she is easy to listen to, but also distinct, and it's clear from listening to her that she has an acting background. She has great tone and inflection, particularly with dialogue.
Personally, I prefer duet narration for books with more than one accent, as it makes things sound more streamlined. However, Allie and Joe handled their respective accents quite well.

Thank you to Blue Nose Audio for the opportunity to review this audiobook!

I just finished The Ride by Martina Dale, and let me tell you this was such a fun, feel-good romcom! From the very first chapter, it had me hooked with its witty banter, adorable chemistry, and laugh-out-loud moments. While the story was full of lighthearted fun, there were also moments of tension that kept things interesting, making the romance even more rewarding.

The push and pull between the main characters felt so natural, and their dynamic made for an engaging listen. There were scenes that had me grinning like an idiot and others where I was holding my breath, waiting to see how things would unfold. The balance of humor, tension, and romance was spot on!

Now, let’s talk about this audiobook performance! Allie Rose’s British accent? Absolutely flawless. She brought so much charm and personality to her character, making her feel real and endearing.

Joe Arden? He CRUSHED it. Fantastic performance, no question. His voice had that perfect mix of smooth, swoony, and expressive, pulling you even deeper into the story. His ability to bring humor, flirtation, and emotional depth all in one performance was chef’s kiss.

Dual narration elevated this story. Having both perspectives made the connection between the characters feel even stronger, and the back-and-forth flow kept me fully invested from start to finish.

The audiobook definitely took this romcom up a notch, turning an already fun story into an even more immersive experience. If you’re looking for something lighthearted, entertaining, and incredibly well narrated this is it!

The Ride, written by Martina Dale. What a start to The Blackmoore Brothers series. I immediately knew from the beginning this story would be a fun listen. Braxton’s Mum had me in hysterics in chapter one!!

The back and forth between Grace (Gee) and Braxton is delightful, and at times delicious too! Can’t tell you how much I love this kind of writing. The story had me engaged throughout. Love it Martina.

The cheeky and flirty banter is brought to life by Allie Rose and Joe Arden in the most effortless
manner. Allie and Joe’s ability to transport me so quickly and convincingly into the world of Gee and Braxton is very impressive and very much appreciated.

Braxton has been sent by his parents to experience their family business from the ground up. I thought Brax was going to be your typical arrogant and spoiled rich kid. Don’t get me wrong he is a little bit this, however Brax’s kinder attentive softer side came to the fore as we ventured deeper into this book.

Grace has had a difficult time of late with a recent relationship. She didn’t let this stop her. Gee is one fired up spitfire with a take no shit attitude. I’m here for it! When a chance meeting at a theme park changes Gee’s life, both personally and professionally, the twists and turns take us on a fun bumpy and spicy ride.

Thank you Martina for an enjoyable and entertaining story. Looking forward to reading what shenanigans the rest of these Blackmoore brothers have in store for us.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW:

Story -❤️❤️❤️❤️
Spice -🌶🌶
Narration -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Ride is book #1 in The Blackmoore Brothers series by Martina Dale. Ms. Dale is a new author for me and being able to start a new series with her is perfect. This series centers around a family that runs an empire, which includes theme parks. Braxton Blackmoore is a grumpy, scandal-ridden playboy that is about to take over this empire. His parents make him go back to the basic workings of the parks to "find himself" before handing him the reins. Grace is a marketing genius that needs a change, mainly because she needs to get away from her cheating ex. She goes to NYC to interview, but a side trip to Chicago changes her life immensely. A chance encounter, a weekend to remember, and a broken phone leading to ghosting set the stage for a not-so-magical reunion when Grace goes to work for the Blackmoore group. This steamy, mistaken identity, hot billionaire boss, strong MFC/protective MMC, rom-com also has a bit of intrigue and suspense, making it everything we could want in a series opener. I really enjoyed this one and I can't wait for the rest of the series to come out in audio.

The narration was spectacular. Joe Arden and Allie Rose brought everything to this audio - the passion, the heartbreaking/heartwarming emotion, and the spot on banter the author meant for us to enjoy. 5/5 stars!

Brilliant book. I love how Grace (Gee) and Braxton meet and form a relationship. Grace ran out of her wedding because she found out her fiancee slept with her cousin the night before. She left her job, home and family in the U.K. to start again in America doing what she loves most in marketing. Only to meet the boss at the park, unaware to her at the time. She believed he was a litter picker. Braxton was a player until his parents told him he needs to start from the bottom of the chain to gain his place in the family business. No more weekends playing with women. He did a month at the Chicago Park, whilst his time there, he meets Grace and they have a strong chemistry together from the start. Thinking they were a one time couple before Grace has to leave for her new job, they enjoyed the short time they had together, until they meet again in the conference room of his family business. Braxton can't seem to stay away from Grace and will do anything to be close to her, I love the banter between these two characters, especially the barging in the bathroom at the hotel. That was so funny. Entertaining read and romantic. I loved Braxton. Looking forward to The Venue

5⭐|4🌶|3🥵

When I started this book, I thought, I would/could never finish it. And I got this thought just on page 2! Why? Because I had to laugh so much, I couldn't see anything because of the tears in my eyes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
But sure, I finished it. I stayed up until 5 a.m. and continued at 10 a.m. I just couldn't sleep anymore without knowing how the book ends...
I loved the tension between Braxton and Gee. The fact that he never felt something like that before her. Then yes, he really was a man wh*re. He always had a woman with him on his free evenings (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday). WTF 😱 3 different women every week. The scene when Brax (or better Bradley Brayshaw) and Gee met for the first time 🤣 Yes, when a girl has to pee, a girl has to pee... 😎
And that big A of her ex-fiance Freddie... 🤬
I could write so much more. So many scenes I had to laugh, but sure, that would be spoiling and I don't do that.
One thing I can say. There will be a book about every brother... And I'm so excited to read them all 🤩

📖This is the first book of a new series by Martina Dale The Blackmoore brothers and it was great beginning 📖📖

Braxton is a typical bachelor who knows only work and onenightstand fun. Until he is forced to learn about his own business from the bottom and meets Grace.

Grace is a heartbroken woman who left her cheating fiance by altar. She decides to change her life from the bottom, so she leaves GB and takes a job in USA.

They spend a weekend together with the promise to not see each other again, but one weekend is enought to start fall for each other. And when they think therr is no future...

... Their job brings them together again-and now Brax - the boss and Grace- his employee. So much energy and chemistry 🥵🌶️. Grace is detemined to keep their relationship only on the work level but Brax has other plans and he can play really dirty 🥵🥵.

I am really looking forward to read next books, we got the chance to meet all Brax's brothers and I have a feeling they are gonna be something original ❤️📖.

This is my honest ARC review, many thanks to Martina.

Well, what a fantastic start to a new series. JUST WOW!!!
Martina has out done herself again, absolutely brilliant read!❤️❤️❤️
This new series is completely different to The Moral Compass or The Healing Wounds Series but is still has it all, and is so so good, I wish I could give it more than ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ cos it is so worthy of more.
I love how Martina has this ability to pull you into the story so you lose yourself and you can feel all the emotions that's going on, and boy, is it all happening with Gee and Brax.
I absolutely love Gee (Grace) she hasn't had it easy and decides enough is enough, and boy is she incredibly brave, smart, and so Sassy. Braxton does not stand a chance. He is funny, bossy, grumpy, and so sexy.
Their banter and chemistry are just so right.
This story as so much going on, but it comes together brilliantly, and it's perfectly written.
If you haven't read anything by Martina, then what are you waiting for?
Because her books are just so good and they are so worth reading.
