Do you break out in a cold sweat when your two-year-old has a fever? Does the idea of watching your baby being born make you think desperately about becoming a vegan? What you need is a workshop manual for dads. As luck would have it, Ian Banks, family doctor, broadcaster, and father of four has produced a handy volume which every dad or prospective dad should keep in life's glove compartment. This is it. This is 'The Dad's Survival Guide.' Without it you are a mere mortal. With it, you are more, much more. You are a highly tuned dad and you might just reach retirement age without your exhaust pipe dropping off.
