Fahrenheit 666

Everybody needs a holiday, and demons are no exception. There may be an important election going on in the hellish city of Mortropolis, but most minds are on forthcoming breaks—maybe possession of a teenage nymphomaniac for a fortnight, or canoeing down the Styx with a packed lunch.

I like it well considering I plowed through in less than 24 hours must say something, a good witty read, Characters well written, and the story line was good. Going have a look at the local library to see if more of Andrew Harmans books are available there.

Further fun for Firkin and pals

This instalment of the adventures ofFirkin, Hogshead, Dawn and friends introduces a whole new realm as well as the return of some favourite characters. Still full of puns and clever wordplay, another excellent work from young Mr Harman

I can't believe this!

I'd just written a review of this book explaining my 'two star' review and the damned internet - evil witchery that it is - has swallowed it!

Well, I'm not writing it again and it was pretty darned good...okay, it was fair to middling, but at least I finally got my arse into gear and wrote it!

Next time I'm going to see if I can write a review in Word and paste it here, at least that way I'll have a copy to try again with...which I don't have this time!

Yeah, I'm shouting a lot! It's just in case the gods of the internet can hear me and feel my anger!

There was plenty of metaphors about 'floating my boat' and 'barely bailing it out', it was almost clever! Possibly the best review I'd written so far and now no-one will see it! (I remain ever hopeful of this not being the case with all my reviews and that one day I will be snapped by The Times and get paid an embarrassing amount of money to write stuff for them.)

What can I say, two stars because it was okay!

Pick a swear word of your own choice and repeat it for two minutes solid and then you'll know how I feel and what I am doing right now!
