This is a nice introduction to natural history illustration concepts and techniques, though a bit out of date in some respects.

I’ll definitely be keeping this and referring back to it. True some of the information is outdated, primarily in the last third of the book, but even an older book can provide useful materials. As I’m starting my exploration of this field this is something I’ll continue to go back to
