This is excellent for improving movement around the drumset. This instructional book is designed for developing funk and fusion drumming. The book goes through different hi-hat patterns progressing from quarter, eighth, and sixteenth patterns. Later the book gives examples of great drummers of this style like Steve Gadd, David Garibaldi, and Peter Erskine.

The audio CDs are great supplementary to help know exactly how the exercises are supposed to sound. I would recommend this anyone wishing to further your drumming and developing your creativity. Thanks!

Great insight into the making/playing of Funk patterns on the drum set. I found it extremely useful for learning the subtleties of programming a drum machine.
