The book is not boring to read and contained some new information. It is good to structure your existing knowledge. It is missing some information required to pass VCP6-DCV exam but reading the book, using VMware labs and looking through exam topics should help you to pass it.

good book to understand Vsphere though too many unnecessary details in my opinion.
