Marked by the secrecy of her birth, Netalie assumes that finding her birth mom will answer all her questions about who she is. But Netalie’s search doesn’t lead to her mother. Instead, she finds a grandfather who wants to atone for past mistakes and a boy who knows things he can’t possibly know. As her fantasies unravel and strange events threaten her, the secret she attempted to bury emerges.
My normal genre of fiction reading reading is more Thriller, Mystery, Fantasy or Sci-Fi, but this book pulled me in with some strong characters and story-telling. A well told story of the hurts that life bring, the lies we believe, and those that help us hear the truth.

A fantastic story! I finished it in one day and one sleepless night! I just could not stop reading it. Each person in the story became alive and just like right standing in front of me. I could see a picture of them. My heart was touched deeply and tears down a few times!
A great story (and not just because I know the author). The plot kept me going, but it was the characters that became alive and to whom I could relate. I might have even leaked a tear or two.
