This may just be the best thing thats ever happened to humanity. This is peak casual humour. Its so unnecessarily funny, oh to be a silly scientist 100 years ago

Special mentions to:
"In this chapter, I will disregard all the other errors lying in this train of thought" literally the birthplace of air resistance is negligible

"The so-called electrons, discovered fairly recently"

"By the way, this remark is truly academic...my alternative would be decidedly more favourable"

"Actually, I do not believe that pure fuel rockets will achieve the state to ever attempt the trip to the moon" LMAO

The whole chapter about how Arrhenius the acid base guy was trying to tell people that 3 bacteria fall from space onto earth every year so if earth has life mars must too

"The moon, for example, can impossibly be completely covered with ice. Here is just one reason (I could name 10)" ok confidence

"Once we have set up a rotating station outside of the earth's atmosphere, neither air nor counter-pressure disturb us and we can here build machines which are related to the fuel rockets as an ocrean liner to a boat"

"Whether this will all work, I do not know. But nothing is impossible on earth ; one must only discover the means with which it can be carried out"
