A fabulous historical examination of the history of horology, filled with a plethora of exquisite photographs and magnificently detailed with concise descriptions and chapter-textual overviews of the eras depicted within this literary work. Many 'possible' explanations (speculations) are found, but they do provide a starting point for further research.
Read for personal research.
