Great addition to any child's non-fiction library. Facts are presented at a beginner's reading level and the vivid photographs will hold even an adult's attention.

My 7 year old son recently borrowed this book from his school library.
In this book, you will learn what fireflies are, how they look, and what they do. The book has easy text and contains colorful pictures to go along with each page. My son needed very little help with reading this book and had no problem understanding the information. A good book for those that like non-fiction.

The pictures are perfect, very good for kids to get familiar with fierflies. The text is scientifically more or less correct. But. The way the author chose to present the material is dreadful, certainly not for kids.
