One of the many Christmas books that we keep with the decorations and get out each year. I love that Santa is kind of brownish-beige so he doesn't look like he's a certain race. And I love the message that children are thoughtful and can think globally when given the chance.

This is such a lovely book with a very poignant message for children and parents alike ,a book to be enjoyed in the lead up to Christmas. I love the cultural diversity within this book shown through the wonderful artwork as well, I especially love that Santa represents all races and he is not presented in the typical fashion.

Pouczająca opowieść o Mikołaju, który jest coraz bardziej zmęczony żądaniami. Czeka z niecierpliwością na list od swoich ulubionych dzieci - Grzesia i jego kolegów, który przychodzi jako ostatni i zawiera zaskakującą prośbę - dzieci nie chcą nic dla siebie, tylko żeby pomógł tym, którzy nie mają nic. W związku z tym Mikołaj z Krasnalem wybierają się na cały rok do Afryki.
Historia mogłaby być piękna, ale jest przelukrowana i przez to mało strawialna.
