This book told all about Manatees. It was filled with all kinds of information about them including where they live and what they eat. They are even an endangered species.
I liked this book. It was full of good information.
You could use this in the classroom for a research project or learning about the ocean.

Full of facts and theories from day to day life of manatees, to legends that are possibly based on the manatee such and mermaids and sirens. Also scientific data and missions into today's time to help protect the manatee population. This book does have a few pages that are evolutionary as well. Lovely illustrations.

This book discusses manatees. I love this book but it also because manatees are my favorite animals! This book would be great for K-3 and a great lesson on water animals and how they live and ADAPT in the wild. Interesting and great illustrations!
