The Cheerios Counting books starts out by counting to the number ten. Each page is a different number. Then it starts counting by tens after it gets to ten. The pages show the number of cheerios needed for that number, and the pages are outlined with different fruit. This would be fun to use in a classroom and actually bring in Cheerios and count along with the book. This is a great book because it goes from 1 to 10, then goes from 10 to 100 counting by tens. There aren't many words but the kids will enjoy it because they know the cereal. It is also a good book to do a lesson with because you could actualy bring in the cereal and have them count it. After the 10, the book starts grouping the cheerios into tens and counting them that way.
